Is it necessary workshop should be free of cost?

My friend wants to take workshop in different town on internet but she has no idea how can work. Actual she is arranging first time if you have any idea about workshop then share your ideas here.
Is it necessary this should be free she want to charge at 300 RS. and duration is 10 days.

You have not mentioned what kind of workshop your friend wants to start or on what subject she will hold a workshop. I have no idea about on line workshop. If the topic is of my choice and interests me I would like to attend the workshop as a 'free' invitee.
