Best blogging sites?

I've been considering starting a blog for a while now.
I've heard of a bunch of different blogging sites but I don't know which one to choose. Preferably one that is relatively easy to use for a beginner but that has decent features and potential for customisation when I get the hang of it.
Any suggestions?

If you are considering of sticking around "only" blogging then you probably need to go with blogger. But, listen there are other one which is the ultimately best and so that i use it for me too! Wordpress - This is the most featured blogging platform and it also supports multiple website skins so go with Wordpress if you ever plan to launch you website in Future....by the way, wish you happy blogging and have a good day ahead!!!!!

one another thing that, wordpress user never needs to know coding! and this is so nice for lots of peoples. Blogger also doesn't wants the programmers but it has lack of features compared with wordpress!

From my experience, I feel wordpress is better. It's easy to get it customized once you know the basic files to do the modifications. There are also lot of plugins available to make it feature rich.
