similar look - lizard control
I've heard that placing some pieces of egg shells on the windows (or at the entry points) would get rid of them. But I didn't use it. We bought a sticker that really worked. (I can't call it a sticker, but it sticks to the wall and it looked like a mini deodorizer.) That was very cheap (3 pieces costed just INR 5) The image I have attached has a closer design, but the one I bought was total plastic. (And the image I attached here is something else, but it has the closer look of the mini deodorizer.)

It didn't have any brand name or anything. It seems a handmade thing, so it may not be available everywhere. (Or if you look at the roadside bunks/stalls, you may find it.)

You are lucky that your problem is just about lizards where in fact it has an advantage that lizards can get rid all those mosquitoes to avoid dengue. I don't have any idea on how to get rid on that. Because in our case the major problem here is we can't get rid off cockcroaches and rats inside our house. Rats is our major problem because it will cause leptospirosis which is poisonous to our blood.

Lizard in walls of our home also common. I like to see some good and useful respond for this question. Its making some unwanted noise and sound during night time and distrubing my sleeping too. My mother tried few times to move those lizards away from home but day by day their numbers are increasing.

If you don't mind me asking, what species of lizard is it that you have in your home? I'm sure that there are some form of humane trap and release devices you can get in your country if there are that many lizards that they've become a nuisance in your house. Bear in mind that whatever species they are, they probably eat bugs, so you could be overrun with insects if you get rid of the lizards!

I don't know which species of lizard is it.It is the normal one we see in home. Surely they eat bugs, but their increasing number and ugly nature is irritating. Some times they come to eat food items in kitchen. so just want to get rid of them.

I personally hate poisons and traps because they kill things. Even if they are a "pest" to us in our homes, they should at least be removed while still being alive. So let's try science! Lizards are cold-blooded creatures, so they can't produce their own body heat. If you have AC, just turn down your thermostat. They will eventually need to go sit in a window (which you should have closed by now) or escape to the outside world. Once they are in the windowsill, trap them with a cup and slide paper under it. Take them outside across the street and release them. Keep your house as a cold place for long enough and eventually they won't come back. It takes a little more effort than traps and poison, but it is a longer term solution in my opinion.
