When I Film a Video in Sims 2 Everything Turns Black.. Help! :'(

I film a video in the Sims 2 for pc, in camera mode, it turns black
. It turns my sim black and the lot black. It goes back to normal, but I don't get to film anything. In neighborhood mode, it turns certain things black, like trees for example. The graphics are on the lowest qaulity. My computer can play my videos I uplaod with my camera. What is wrong!?

when I don't move the camera it blurs my sim back and some other stuff
MY COMPUTER MEMORY IS.... 1.99 GB of RAM it says that somewhere in the control panel

are you using the in game film maker or some brand of one like Snag it(etc.) if you are using a branded one like snag it try using the in game film maker it should work if not try adjusting your graphics more i recently had to restart my computer due to insufficient memory so i restarted everything from scraps and i am a gamer my self and when i record in game video's i usually use the program snag it. it works great for alot of on monitor screen recordings but i can look into this problem more i have a copy of the game somewhere in my stack of old games haha i now play new video games :D

I use the film maker in the game.I think it may be my pc,I think it need something downloaded to work.This pc doesn't even have a dvd player,so I can't watch dvd's on it.I thought maybe that has an effect on it. It lets me take pictures in the game with no problem.I think I've heard of snag it.That works good?
