Welcome to mylot It is not advisable to suppress crying, better to cry out loud to release stress, you can watch some sad movie in your room alone, be a part of it, i am sure you will cry. Best of luck. Happy posting, cheers. Kalyani

Think of a person or thing or whatever is the most important to you, then think that they are about to lose. I'm sure, you will cry.

Listen to heartbreaking song or songs with sweet melodies, that would just let your tears fell...

I don't know what made you sad, but that is not important to me I guess because I will not be able to feel your sorrow. and I do not want to pretend I will. Why force yourself to cry? Many people would want to wipe away their tears. If there is a reason for tears to follow sadness, it will come naturally unless you need to be strong to hold them back for a reason. There is a time for everything. See the bible: 1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. The one that caught my eye....is for me to be silent...now. I wish you well.

watching sad movies helps for me. whenever I feel like crying and it just not easy to start, I do it. A tear, and when a movie is heavy, then I find myself crying mainly because it is getting a relief. ;-)
