Do you have a pet in your home? We have a small dog, she's quite the character and so loveable. What did you name your pet? Was it unique or something that you thought suited the animal. Our dog's name is GAZOU the kids picked it out and we let them name her.

We have an African Grey called Turkey, a cat called Dog and a Taiwan Beauty Rat Snake called Ladyboy. Ladyboy got his name because we weren't entirely sure whether it was a boy or a girl at first, so he got both. We now know affirmatively from the babies he produced with 'Lady' that he is indeed a he, but the name stuck.

Very creative I like that Ladyboy. I can't say that I would like a snake in my house as I am afraid of them. I would always fear that it would get out of it's cage.

Many people fear that and believe that they are cold, slimy and dangerous, but that's not necessarily the case. All our enclosures are solid wood with glass sliding door fronts and secure wedges to make sure the snakes can't slide the glass open. Snug as a bug in a rug and safe as houses!

I have two Maltese named Penny and Lilly, not at all unusual, I guess. My husband named Penny; I named Lilly and I named her that specifically because she's all white and beautiful, just like the flower. (It was going to be either Lilly or Q-Tip.) I have a cat named Bean. That's a bit strange, I'd say. I named him after a nosy neighbor kid whose nickname is Bean. We called the boy "the pest who wouldn't leave" and that's how this cat was. He was a stray who wandered into my life and wouldn't leave so Bean was natural for him. My son has two cats he's named Sandwich and Hoagie. I think he may have been hungry when he named them. He's always eating something. I let my sons name two kittens we adopted when they (my sons) were young. They had no imagination, apparently, because they named the kittens Joan and Whitey. (Whitey was solid white.)

That's a great name! The kids did good! I have four teacup chihuahuas and their names aren't as unique as the one your dog has but they are pretty specific to them. There is Tubs who is quite the chunk compared to the other dogs, Eva the evil chihuahua because of her aggressiveness but we just call her Eva, Missy because when we fuss at her we say..get over here little miss...and Muchacho who is a very handsome young male.
