I woke up 5am this morning and I do some house task after I felt sleepy again since my daughter has no classes. I decided to go back to sleep again. For about 10:30am I heard my cellphone it's a text message. So I read the message while my eyes are still sleepy. When I read it enough I was shock, it was my best friend who needs help. She said she was already on a public transportation (jeepney)going to my house and yet she has no money to pay for the jeepney and she told me to wait for her to the corner, near to our street. I hardly get up and change dress I din't have the chance to go to the bathroom, I run outside and wait her.It was really hot outside whew, I just told If I will ignore my best friend pity on her. And also I can't do that to my friend, I will not allow her to be in bad situation like that. How about you friends can you share some stories that make you really shock.

Hi Lyn, sometimes i do came across some days where it really shock me. What i can do is, stay calm and be happy nor matter what happen. Because everything that happen usually have a purpose. I hope you are still fine and stay calm although you are shocked by your friend's message. Always stay happy and fine always, nor matter in what situation.

Similar situation happened to me when I was still single, I heard a knock in my house in the early morning and when I opened the gate it was my friend and I saw a police car, I asked him "what happened?" and he said " I drank in the local bar and met a real nice lady, we drunk and drunk till I found out my cash was short", the bar owner called the police and the police told him if he knew some body who could pay for him then he could go. It was just 500 pesos (around 12 dollars) but rather big during those time. No problem he paid me after a weekand even treated me out. We still laugh at the experience to this day.

Yes it's always worth it to help a friend, actually my friend could have gone to his house and got his own money , the problem was his family would find out where he has been and why he had no more money, so I was the first person he remembered.

i have a lot of experiences like these when friends suddenly drop by unannounced on my doorstep. one time i even had 3 people come in unannounced in intervals of like 2-3 hours lol: one ran away from home, one had relationship troubles with her boyfriend's mom and the other one was depressed from work. i find it weird and heart warming at the same time that these people actually had me in mind, at least it makes me feel "useful/helpful" in a way. Sometimes i can't help but wonder maybe these people come to me to teach me some important things in life that i might encounter in the future. or maybe, i'm just a big magnet for people with troubled hearts and minds lol :)) nonetheless, i enjoy helping out those people in need as long as i can.

you have done a good thing that a loyal friend can do to other friend. she expected that you would help her and you did i can remember when i used to travel from one city to another city, i always took a lift from one of my good friend. every time i reach there at 6 am. i used to go to his ouse which was nearby to the trai station and wake him up. he didnt get angry with me. this is why friendship is the most precious thing in ones life.

A fortune teller told my friend she was gonna meet a man who worked for the law and that he was very well off, that he lived several states away near water, aa good looking man with dark hair. I don't remember the rest of it. Myself, I will not go to a fortune teller. About a week later, she met this guy in a suit at the club we frequented. He was gorgeous (so was she). It was like love at first site. He went back to New York or someplace like that and sent her back airplane tickets to come and spend the weekend with him. She was so excited and in love. I just never saw her that way. I was so happy for her. He said all the right things to her. I took her to the airport and she left for her wonderful trip with her romantic guy. She called me the next day from the airport crying. He had treated her like a w*hore, had obviously a woman living with him from the total evidence in his house and just talked awful to her in front of his friends. She was a wreck. He had wrecked her world. Oh, that was so terrible for a human being to do that to someone on purpose.

You're such a good friend. Imagine not even going to the bathroom to change or at least check your self up first before you go out of the house. And that is because you are worried about her. As for me I am not remembering whether similar thing happened before. But what I can only remember is when a friend who visited me suddenly asked for some money because she forgot her wallet. If I won;t give her any, she won;t be able to get a ride going home.

That would be a shock..very unexpected. I have a couple of friends that I would do anything for and I would do exactly the same thing you did. I think the most shocked I was was when my friend's crazy ex showed up on my doorstep one day trying to find information out about her. How dare him. I put him in his place right away where I was concerned and called my friend.

You really hit the gist of friendship and that is we try our best not to allow a friend from being placed a bad situation. It's a good thing you were at home that time and was able have helped out your friend. I think the last time I was also caught by surprised was when a very close friend of mine called at 2 AM in the morning. No one calls me during those times unless it was an emergency. She just broke up with his boyfriend and was just driving around the city. I was so worried that she might do something stupid so I immediately jumped in my car and met up with her. It's a good thing that I did since she had a few drinks.

Yhea It's her luck that I was in the house, she even did not inform me that she will be coming. It's your friends luck too that she has a friend like you.

I am wondering how come your best friend is not bringing her money to pay for a jeep? and yeah it is really hot every 11:00 am until afternoon. Good thing at night it is not so hot and yet it is still cold that I don't need to open the air conditioned. In my case if I have to tell something that I was shocked then probably when my dad told me that they found the stray bullet on the ceiling that makes the roof a hole then the direction was towards my bedroom.

We have no idea of where does the stray bullet coming from. But then there was a time when I was about to sleep, I've heard something like there was stone thrown on the roof. I just ignore it because I was sleepy then who would thought that it is already stray bullet? It didn't even pass through the ceiling.

That is totally heartbreaking stowyk The sad part on that is it is hard to find JUSTICE for that matter unless if they were able to recognize the culprit right away. Now I really have more reason for me to Thank God on giving me a chance. How old is that child by the way?
