Its just simple, If our country is free of rebel factions, more foreign investments will enter because it is now "generall" safe.

They had been talking about it for many, many years, the time for talk is over, it is time for action. Right, go ahead and destroy all these rebel factions, then more investment will come. It is always easier to talk with no action, destroying all the rebel factions come at a cost, without all the neceassry war machines and man power, it is not going to be easy like one, two, three like you claim.

yes it does cost big, but at the end, the whole country will benefit. Especially like me, i live in mindanao, its a big island, but its peaceful. If the government really wants to make mindanao peaceful then they should stop talking to extremist groups, they are selfish people you know. A secure country means more livelihood and much better life for the people.

That is correct my friend! The government had been talking for the past decade with those extremists in Mindanao, so far nothing change and situation becoming worse each year. Time for talk is over, since those extremists are not sincere people in making peace, they just want the whole island for themselves to establish islamic haven for terrorism purposes. The time for action is here and now, a responsible government have to act immediately, secure the whole country and begin to provide security to its people, no more talking and play by the rule of the extremist's game, stop acting silly and naive toward those extremists, they are not interested in peace per se.

Most countries have rebels whether they have the democratic form of government or not. Even in communist countries there are the underground rebel forces. Some countries though have improved both economically and politically. I don't think that eliminating rebel forces the country would be the key to progress. I believe progress is determined by the kind of leaders that we have. If the leadership continues to ignore poverty, unemployment, over population and infrastructure for the rural areas, I don't think there is any chance for progress. It is the factor why there are many rebel groups in the country. They want to fight for reforms.

Well, yahnee i totally agree with you . However, when those rebels includes the civilians in the disturbance that they are doing, then it makes the people think, why not eradicate all of them? They would blast a telecommunication site whenever the company doesn't want to pay the "revolutionary tax". What a way to ask for financial assistance!

It's been a long problem of our country. We still remain poor despite of all the propagandas of our government. The rich get richer the poor gets poorer. The rebels & abusayff continue to become threat to our security. The only thing left for us is to hope that someday all our efforts would turn out positively.
