do you ever feel so drained from the days/weeks that when you are finally at home and have the time and there is a lot of house work that needs to be done that you are unable to get up off the couch to get it done? i am that way all the time and i dont know how to change this and it seems like nothing gets done around the house like it needs to. i do a lot everyday and by the time i am home all i want to do is sit down and relax...how do u get your self motivated to get things done when you dont feel like doing ne thing? may b i can get some good ideas and try them myself lol :)

All the time I have to self motivate. Usually I turn on Klove online, and listen to some music. The music they play is so full of encouragement. You start changing your attitude about things. I pray alot, asking the Lord to give me strength and joy. You know when you are depressed or filled with anxiety it is really hard to get motivated. But all things are possible through Jesus Christ. Even winning the battle of not being motivated. I find if when I wake up, and begin to praise God before I even get out of bed. I seem to accomplish more things.

I really hope it works for you. I will be thanking him that it will work for you. I find if I only go to God when I am exhausted or troubled. I am always to tired to. Moring works best for me, before my feet touch the floor I begin to just thank him for things. Its forming the habit time, of going to him in our time of joy and or pain. God can do things we cannot due.

i use to be really good about my hearing my alarm clock until just recently. i guess i have been so drained there are some mornings i do not even hear the alarm clock go off when it is time for my husband to get up for work (which isnt always good since he doesnt always actually get up). i guess everyone needs time to relax and slow time down. just wish we could ALL find that time :) *sorry in about 2 months late haha it took me this long to see that you responded lol not sure how i missed it but i did lol

Yes most times we do get drained up in the our life. I think we should find things to enjoy life. I think it is good to spend time in beaches and spend time with children. I think reading self-motivated books are good. I think we need to find ways of making happiness ourselves in life.

it is very hard for me to find ways to enjoy life because i am always so busy lol i feel like i do the same thing every day haha. but i do love going camping and fishing with my family on weekends when we can find the time and it is not raining or to cold (since this years weather has been so crazzy). i also LOVE spending time with my kids and i have tried to do a lot more with them because they may be starting at school this upcoming year. i have never read a self-motivatedbook that i know of but i do love to read a lot :)

I think you should try to take a break occasionally this will help. Well try to enjoy every second of life like there is no tomorrow and today is the best day you have. Never worry about the future and try to live at present.

that is some great advice thank you i wish i could take a break but it seems like the days i choose to take a break i end up having a slammed pack day full of things to do. my husband is so great because he tries to give me just a little peace at home. sometimes when he knows i am just so stressed out and it would be better that i get atleast 5 min or quiet time hell take the girls outside or shut my door in the room and tell me to stay and relax for a few then come out to join them. it is nice even tho unless they are outside the kids still come in but it is cute haha. that is a problem i have. i seem to try and rush thro life and i stress over things so much that i forget about the best things in life. i am ALWAYS worrying about the future and woundering what might happen if we do or dont do something. may be it is time i start worrying about each day as it comes to me. may be then i can learn to enjoy the small things in life. sometimes i think i forgot how to do that.....
