do u ever think back to when you were in school or ne wherer that you met some really good friends and they tell you "we will be friends forever"? what does forever mean really?? most the friends that told me that i rarely if ever speak to them again we grew apart in our own lives i guess. it is kind of sad to remember the friends you did let go that were always there for you...do u think me/we (if u can rlate) should have fougt harder to keep them in our life when we were not in the same places ne more??

Yes, I can relate to you. I have also made great friends way back in high school and I thought that they will gonna be my best friends forever. But then when its time for college we chose different schools. From there on, we seems to drift apart less communication and now we are just mere acquaintance.It is kind of sad and yes I do think that if put more effort in keeping in touch I might have save the friendship. Now, I do not know what was going on with their lives and they do not know about mine. I am not the kind of person who always stay in touch with friends. Once you are my friend, you will always be but I think distance did play a role in my case and they found new friends whom they can always talk to anytime. :( Regrets I have a few. :D

when we graduated she chose college and i chose a family so i stayed where i they went off to make them selves better. just like you as the years passes it seems we grew farther and farther apart and i guesswe all found new friends. i am glad u have no regrets that is a good thing :D i guess i wouldnt say i regret not keeping in touch more because i enjoy the people i do have in my life but i do have the feeling that i wish i would have tried more.

wow that is so AWESOME :) i am very happy for you two...i wish mine was like that but i am trying to get in touch with my old friend and see if we can get back to the way we use to even while we are miles apart :) i miss my her so very much. there is nothing like the love of your best friend :D congrats on the long friendship.

Forever can mean different thing to different people, our friend in school may told us 'we are friend forever' in reality, it means that the entire school years only. After that, each will go separate way, and move on with their life in the real working world.

i guess i have come to realize that...its just there are a few people i would like to have around now that i had back then. 1 in particular who was my best friend (and my maid of honor in my wedding--which was after we graduated) but after that day i ave not seen oe been able to get a hold of her. she was like a sister to me and i still think of her that way :) but may b ur right that is a temporary friendship and its time to find new friends and move on from the old ones :)

When my friends and I left school we wrote small messages in eachother's calendars. We wrote things like: "we will be friends forever" but the reality is different from those words. I have lost touch with many of my old friends from school. Some of them I have managed to find again, because I looked them up on Facebook, but I haven't managed to find my best friend from school. Maybe she is married today and has a different name. I sometimes think about her. I think that it could be fun to meet again and I wonder what she is doing today or where she is living.

that is how i am feeling i have found a few of them but the main ones i want to talk to again i am unable to find any where. i guess it happens to everyone and i should have tried harder to keep in touch lol it would be kool if they had kids to and we could ahve a play date with my kids :)

I am the very same way. I am back in contact with one friend from high school but thats it. And its a very sad reason why we got back in contact, I dont want to get into details about it but just now its very sad. I told myself that i would at least text or call her at the least every other day just to see how she was doing. And now reading this discussion reminded me that i have not done this at all. I talked to her and was doing good for about 2 or 3 weeks and then i just stopped and not even sure why. Thank you for reminding me i need to get back up with her cause she is the only friend i have left from school that was like my sister!!!!!!

*no offence* but sometimes i think we all get caught up in our own BUSY lives and we just forget to keep in touch. in my life and i know yours we have a lot going on at almost all times :) if it is who i think you are talking about yes you two where the closest people lol and it was a sad situation of why you two were brought back together but things happen for a reason and its good she has friends like you to keep in touch with her :) i am sure she understands as i know she has a busy life to and would be happy to hear from you again :)

Yes very much. We both have to much going on all the time. And right after i posted this comment she was on facebook so i started talking to her. And you are so right about her always being busy to lol. With all those kids she has now lol. And i so agree with you about things happen for a reason. If god didnt want something to happen then it wouldnt hapopen. I thank god that i have such good friends and family to help me out in my time of need. So what was today all about anyway?

how is she doing?? how many kids does she have now? i have seen a few pics here and there and they are very cute :)
i wish it didnt happen that way but i am glad you 2 hav gotten close together again that is always a great thing. yes friend and FAMILY is great to have when we are down and out.
idk she was all stopped up she called me then she called daddy him and justin stopped by here she wanted daddy to get her stuff. then im on the way i called said i am driving ur way as we speak and then i get there and you are there she said she called you before i called that last time. i was so confussed she called every one today. and all i got out of it was she wanted (HAD) to get out of the house she was hot and needed clothes and wanted out of the house. so we went to the store today.
