First payment from MyLot and I have this great urge to spend it.

NEWS: "I'm seeing MyLot in green today. It's payday. YAY!" I don't know why but whenever I acquire money, I really wish to spend it. My reason for this behavior might be because of my way of thinking about money. Money is invented to be spent. It is not that I hate money, I just love spending it. But when I think about it, I really don't know where to spend it on. My earnings in MyLot is too few to pay off my mom's debts. -__- Then there was the result of my self-study course on financial literacy, the financially enhanced part of my mind now is telling me, "I wish to spend the money because I want to invest it and make it work hard for me." Do you MyLotters have this urge too? What do you do with it? Where do you spend your hard earned money on?

Congratulations on getting your first payment. If I were you, I would save the money. I have not earned enough for a payment yet. Have a great weekend!

I was thinking that if I were only to save the money, I would get nothing from it. It would only sit still instead of working hard--"making it my slave this time". Sorry with my words! There's just no way of saying it otherwise. lol

Whoa! So early now eh? Most of the time the payment date is during the 15th of the month. Anyway, it is a welcome development after all! We have the same thinking with our earnings here in myLot. I would really like to invest it up but the sum is still small that is why I am still in accumulation mode. Once I hit a certaing target value, I will get an EON card to verify my Paypal account to be able to withdraw my earnings. After that, I will make it work hard for me too.

AgentGulaman, you're a Filipino, right? Isn't EON a Union Bank card? Aren't their charges just too big? I was only planning to use RCBC debit card for the PayPal. I just hope PayPal will receive RCBC because I found out that AlertPay don't. This is frustrating!

Do you got the payment? Have you chked the payapal that mylot had sent you your earning? Well i too confuse why mylot payday is on 9th mean today unlike 14 of the month. Well i uses the mylot money as expense of what i did on my internet. Thus i got those money recovered and back. thanks for mylot that i enjoy both mylot and the data uses using the payment of mylot with no extra money i have to give to others.

Yes. I checked into my PayPal account and I really got it. What was left in MyLot earnings now is just a couple of dollars. My minimum payment is still $10 so I got it quite easily. I see. Your spending style gives me quite an idea. Thanks for your response! Happy MyLotting!

Hey congrats. I also got paid yesterday night. I plan to save the earning and not spend it unless there is something really important.

It all depends. right now, no because I don't have a regular job, so any money I get I love to save. But when I already have a regular income, sometimes I think of that as extra money. But I won't go as far as tryin g to think of something to spend it on if I can't think of any. Then it goes into my saving account. These days, money is meant to be saved. It's like Suzi Orman says, 'people first, then money, then things." She is on, tonight by the way, on CNBC. You should watch her.

Oh, we think the same. Whenever I get money, I always have to stop myself from spending it and think first before using it. I read a lot of financial books and like what you said, it's very wise if we invest it and make it work for us. Yes, that's right. But there are really times that I'm being tempted to use it in other things, things that I know will be irrelevant for me a year from now.

I won't spend the money I earn from online yet, since I need some extra saving. So, whatever I made from online, I would rather save them to my saving account, and accumulate my savings as my back up plan. I won't spend it now. But different people have different mind set, you might as well worth to spend it.

Congratulations...Pay day is always fun. I'm pretty careful about spending too, however, when I do spend I think about how that money is blessing the lives of myself and of other people. If I take a friend out to dinner I'm nurturing the friendship. Then I can leave a nice tip for the waitress so they feel good about doing their job. The point I'm trying to make is that it's great to save... but it's also great to spend in a way that everyone benefits.
