Too Late & Too Early

Ireland

I got up a little late today, had breakfast... Eventually my man got up. I got hungry about an hour ago and it was simply too late to have lunch (I wouldn't be fit to have dinner) and too early for dinner as my man would then be starving when he starts his shift at work tonight. I had a slice of toast, but I'm still hungry! When that happens, I usually drink a bottle of water or a coffee and that keeps me satiated until dinner time. How about you, do you ever find yourself between meals like that? Too late and too early? What do you do?

If i got up early, i used to eat early in the morning. Then before lunch time only i used to feel hungry Obviously. That time i will eat some snacks or i will drink some water. If i got up late means, i will skip my break fast and i will eat lunch directly.because i cant manage breakfast and lunch with a small gap.

I'm the same as you, I need a reasonable break between meals to benefit from them at all.

I take thyroid medication in the morning and I am supposed wait one hour before eating because it may upset my stomach but if I get up really late like ten am. or so, I usually skip taking my pill and just eat right away because I am too hungry to wait but this is not a good practise because my pills work best if I take every day at the same time. It doesn't really hurt to miss once in awhile but I am getting better at getting up at the same time each day. I suppose we all have off days , sometimes.

We all indeed have off-days. Today was one of those for me. I've just gotten the dinner in and polished it off at 5.30pm. I don't normally eat dinner til about 6.30-7pm, and even then by 9 I'm well and truly peckish. I'll bet I'll be starving by 9 tonight! I'd hate to be restricted with meals by medication, sorry to hear of it!

I'm a nut for NUTZ! Yes...a handful of nuts, whatever the choosing at the time...fav is Cashews (unsalted)...or dry-roasted peanuts! Worse comes to worse..Fruit is the other option, but with my weird digestive system, once the fructose in the fruits start digesting...my digestive system seems to ramp up...and I need more! Probably just me, but the protein in the nuts, are just what I need to tide me over! But, summer offers me another option...my garden, sometimes I forage so heavily (LOL)...a meal is not necessary! I do get carried away when my garden is ready to raid!

Of course! Nuts & protein, that's even better. Perhaps a banana and a handful of nuts will tie me over next time. I'd love to have a garden to grow fruit and veg in... Some day!

I usually snack a bit throughout the day and eat pretty big meal for dinner. There have been times when I got hungry quite a bit earlier than dinner though. If I go ahead and eat, I ruin my appetite for dinner too. I try to hold out if I can...if it's not too far away..lol.

I often do that too because daily activities, and it doesn't matter for me. Because we have to make our body used to with unregulated meeting style, however it's not healthy..., :D
