stem cell transplantation(SCT),pls help me !!!

Hi,dear friends,
I am in a big trouble now,My father got liver Cirrhosis,and I searched on the internet ,and it seems the most effective method now is to do the operation of Stem cell Trasplantation(SCT),acctually I do not know about this very well,and I wonder China can do this operation sucessfully,and whether you ,your friends or family have ever had this kind of experience,and how is the result ?is it sucessful and effective?pls ,pls help me my lotters to explain me and give me your kind suggestions!!!!

I have not much idea about the tem cell transplant. But what I know about this procedure is that, they will use the blood collected from the umbilical cord of the person that needs operation when he/she was born and it will be placed in a storage facility and will be retrieved when that person needs it. I don't know if stem cells from other person could be used to treat any ill person. I don't have that much idea about it.
