My son forced me to give him money and I asked why. He suddenly laughed and said, because your money is about to expire. I said WHAT? and he keeps laughing and said, check the expiration date mom, your money is about to expire so you need to use it now :p He spoke again and said, imagine if money has expiration date and you forgot to check your piggy bank. Let's say you have saved Ten Thousand pesos (more of less US$238) and when you checked your piggy bank, all the money expired last year, that's why give me your money now mom before it expires (lols) We ended up laughing (hehehe)

Thats one way to get some money out of you. Making a joke and making you laugh. I think that is so cool. I also think he deserves some money for that one. Give him some money to spend. Maybe he should become a comedian.

That is really funny. It is his way for you to give him money. But come to think of it that money has expiration too like other things. What will gonna happen to the rich people who don't know where to spend their moneys.

hi ardoy, I wonder about it too, One thing is for sure, rich people will spend their money and give it away to poor ones. Isn't a good idea to make every rich people become generous, hehehe. Thanks for your response :)

Our money kind of expired when we changed to Euro. I had some money left that I didn't exhange for Euro. But nevermind, I will remember the official currency of Greece for thousands of years. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_drachma

Allow me to join in laughter as you realize that it's a joke. Our currency has its expiry period depending on our Central Banks decision. When a new money paper is being used, the Central Bank usually announces that all holders of the old paper must exchange in any government bank. I had the experience of twice exchanging the old paper and coins to the new one. The ones not being changed were not already honored and becomes a memory, an antique, a play money. Let's keep on laughing until we can hit something. ha ha ha

hi god_is_good, I agree, God is good :) I remember the old peso, it's a big one and really looks valuable compared to the new coins. I've regretted for not collecting all the old coins, although I have a few. I missed the big 5 peso coin and but I was able to kept a two peso bill :) yes, let's keep on laughing while we have the chance :p
