Last time while I'm watching TV a news come and in a certain beauty salon in Iowa USA gather a massive numbers of people willing to let their hair cut just to help the cancer patients. According to the news the funds and the money will go all to the Iowa Cancer Organizations by helping cancer patients for their treatment, recovery and and other therapies. I think this kind of cause absolutely good cause you make a difference to other lives even if a small part of your hair and if I am on that place I will do this stuff also. I will allow my hair to be cut off just to help them. In your case will you allow your hair to be cut off? Will you help this cancer patients? What do you think? Share your views.

I don't think it matters to have our hair cut to help others. Our hair will quickly grow again, right? So, I will support those who had their hair cut for the sake of other people.

I actually just donated my hair a few months ago. My hair was pretty long and I loved it that way. I didn't think I'd ever cut it. I got it trimmed every few months to keep it looking fresh, but I always kept it long. What changed my mind was a combination of things. First, I just had a baby in the summer and she was getting to the hair-pulling phase. (Man, did that hurt!) Second, my long hair has always made me look much much younger than I am and everyone thought I was a teenage mother. Third, two people close to me were suffering from cancer (one passed away) and I wanted to help people who were losing their hair from it all. So I went to the salon, gave about twelve inches to help others, and got a cute new bobbed hairstyle. I get compliments about my hair all the time. And I finally look my age (I'm 22 so that's okay for now). I actually think my hair suits me better now than it ever had before. If I ever grow my hair long again, I will definitely continue to donate it.

Wow good to hear that the good thing about donating hair is that you have the unconditional happiness inside and the same time you are happy for the look you get in helping others as well. What a spirit you have my friend well done.

A.J.Hawk - The before and after long! Way to go Hawk!
I don't know if I would do this or not. I do know some friends who have done it. There was a guy who used to work at the college I work at who always did it. What surprised me the most of people do it is Green Bay Packer A.J.Hawk! Hawk recently cut his long locks to help cancer patients! Now he has a nice short hair style and his cut hair will be used for a good cause!

Defintely gav. It's the least that i could do to help those cancer patients. I may not have money to give to them, but i have my hair that i can have cut off, just to raise funds for them. Maybe no matter how bad the cut is, i will still feel happy after that.

Yeah that is true if this is for a good cause I think any person can allow their hair to cut but if those bald ones maybe they can spare some dollars since they don't have hair to cut LOL!...

Yes, since I like short hair better than long hair. And that means I have nothing to lose. I get the hair cut that I want and at the same time I also help someone else.

Imagine in just a few trims of your hair you can save lives and help them to face another life again how cool is that right?
