Music Players of Old and New

About three-and-a-half years ago , I was teaching a dance routine to a group of kids for a school program. I asked one of my 12-year-old students to help me operate a cassette tape player. It was an old tape and very rare. I asked her to be careful. My student declined, albeit apologetically, telling me she didn't know how to operate a cassette player. I remember looking at her in disbelief and thinking "AM I REALLY THAT OLD???"

I doubt that you are that old. If you look at it from a technology point of view, we are very old most of us. My small brother cannot operate a VCR and it was just the other day that we had them in all our homes.

Stores selling cassette players are very rare nowadays. Technology advancement is very fast that we forgot to count the years that passed. Good Day! :)

Well maybe, the kid was not just familiar of it. That is why music teachers have to tackle even from the oldest history. From the simplest to to the most complex... Old or new, we learn from them, we enjoy from those materials.
