I just have a productive cough...what's bad is that I'll be having a medical examination in about 12 days and I don't want that day for the examiner to see me coughing and coughing... When you're in a situation wherein you wanna get rid of your cough quickly.. what works best for you in getting rid of your cough quickly?? I might probably try that..

There are may cough medicines on the market that you could buy over the counter and there are lots of cough drops as well. And they say that having some yes and honey works as well.

I'm trying natural remedy as of now, like warm ginger juice with a squeeze of lemon or orange, and a teaspoon of honey... and there's a bit a relief I felt in my throat but it's just temporary, after an hour or so, I start coughing again...

Then you need a cough medicine with a represent in it. It would calm down the cough. And if there is any phlegm with it, then you would also need one with an expectant.

You have a poor immune system. Try to improve it. My wild guess you don't drink plenty of water. Your water consume is below average. And you have below 8 hours sleep. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Boost up your immune system. Take vitamin C, eat healthy and drink lots of water.

Drink plenty of water and take some vitamin C. You can eat some fruits also that rich in vitamin C or drink some fresh lemon juice. Hope it'll help.

Gargle with saline water once every hour. Chew on a slice of ginger and try to hold juice your throat for as long as you can without swallowing it, three times a day. About 3 seconds is what most people can do. Drink warm water instead of cool water till you are at ease. All this is valid for that seasonal nagging cough. In case it is a serious infection, you need to see a doctor.

Drink colloidal silver water. It eats up mucus quite well. Stop drinking cold water and stop consuming milk or anything that screams dairy product. They are big contributors of mucus in your system. Drink plenty of lukewarm water instead. And if you could, get the most natural honey you have (no mixtures or sugar or any chemical), add it on a warm water and drink that.
