Honestly I don’t really know her not until it was asked during the game of Pinoy Henyo. It just so happened that the one who will answer if yes or no doesn’t know Cyndi Lauper that is why the other contestant who is asking doesn’t have any idea on what to answer but it was later answered. Though they weren’t able to win because there was another team of contestant who were able to make a record of 9 seconds. The two host such as Joey and Vic asked the contestants if she knows Cyndi so she honestly tell that she don’t know she is a singer.
But then they gave a joke that she is a daughter of Tandang Sora that I even thought it was true but of course I still have second thoughts about it. When I searched about her that is the time I realized that she is the original singer of Time After Time which is well known during 80’s. Then I was surprised that she even had a concert here in Manila. I realized that maybe that is the reason why it was asked in Pinoy Henyo game.

Cyndi Lauper is my mother's favorite singer. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"
are our favorite song of her, whenever we play that song in our house,
me and my mom sing along and dance to the tune. My mom was a teenager
in the 80's, and now that I'm from a new generation, I can totally
appreciate the music from the 80's. I love the 80's. I even gave my mom
a Cyndi Lauper CD as a birthday gift when I was in high school.
