I’ve already read an article about Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Tagle has denounced gimmicks in church weddings. http://ph.news.yahoo.com/tagle-scores-gimmicks-weddings-145138450.html His comment is about that most couples nowadays are focusing more on dramatic wedding rather than the significance of the Sacrament of Matrimony and the faith. I’ve read the article already and I already understand his point because some of them maybe the bride is making the butterfly effects that it makes the mass delayed for 45 minutes which is I think that is ridiculous already. Because we have to be considerate with the priest as well that they have another mass to attend. More so I think as well that dogs are not relevant to become the ring bearer or part of the wedding entourage. Actually the problem with other couples is that they tend to forget the significance of having a wedding inside the church where in it must be about MARRIAGE. I understand that they want to become more memorable for the once in a lifetime event that is why they are putting some special effects on it. But there are times what pisses me off is that people tend to complain the expense of Church wedding to the extent that they would rather have Civil wedding for them not to spend much cost. What can you say about the article?
