Canon legria cam,touch decoration feature

I am excited to watch the canon legria video camera advertisement. It has wonderful features and one that I still remember is the touch decoration function. Means we able to edit or write any comments directly on the Lcd display while shooting wonderful moment. This way we can sketch any comments or picture directly without even edit or connect to our PC. I believe this will help us a lot. Since sometimes we tend to forget our feelings when already arrived at home. If we can write directly when recording video, so we can share our emotional moment at the right time. Or at least edit directly on the spot..what do you think about this feature? Is that really answering our needs or just be another gimmicks?
