Well, Bangladesh have just displayed some good cricket in this Asia cup.
They beaten India and Srilanka while chasing 200+ target.
Here in the final , they have once again got a chance to chase down comparatively less target and enjoy the triumph of fist ODI cup.
Pakistan is having the better bowling attack in Asian team, so chasing down this target against them in the final will not be such easy.
Bangladesh have once surrendered to Pakistan while chasing.
But now Bangladesh is in the winning row..
First they made India upset
Then they made Srilanka upset..
Now will they beat Pakistan and win the Asia cup....
Will New Asian champions be born...

Eventhough they win the match, i won't consider them as champions they have to prove them outside bangladesh...
anyway they played good cricket through out this tournament and they deserve the championship..
all the best bangladesh.....

Let's give them some time my friend. It is Bangladesh who have won the most praises even if they are the runners-up. I am a fan of Indian cricket but Bangladesh has just won me. I am sure there might be many followers in India who liked the way Bangladesh approached the game. Let us look at the game as a whole and not hate any team just because it is not India.

If you say like that, then India won the recent world cup in our nation, not outside...
And we were continuously failing in England and Australia, so dont speak like that.
After watching that match, I felt that they have really improved, and we should give credit for what they have done.

I didn't hate them...we can't call them as champions for one win....yes, they need some time to prove themselves..

Bangladesh is in some tremendous form these days. The Asia Cup has brought out the best out of them. And no one will disagree on this point. Seeing the form the entire team is, it should not be too difficult for Bangladesh to overhaul the Pakistani target. Yes, out of these four teams, Pakistan has the best bowling attack in the form of Saeed Ajmal and Umar Gul.
But it is not one individual who has worked wonders for Bangladesh. Tamim Iqbal has been in a tremendous form and so is the former captain Shakib Al Hasan. Bangladesh has proved that they have a solid middle order batting line up. They have troubled Pakistan earlier at the start of the Cup and have never lost a match since.
At least on paper Bangladesh looks the favorites. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hey actually I have been active in other the category here.
Anyways, back to business. You are right. Bangladesh should not be considered minnows anymore. They have given a run for their money to Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka. They didn't spare anyone. So, I think, it is a team that the world will have to watch out for.

hai abhi, good to see you back after a long time..
Surely, This Asia cup has made one more strong team in world cricket, now we cant treat Bangladesh as minnows, at least in sub continental conditions..
Ya Pak bowling is strong, so it may become great challenge for Bangladesh to win here. But as you said, they are having good middle order, and now the hope is on their middle order, now the match is evenly poised and waiting for the result.

oh, thats good, So back to cricket.
Surely, Bangladesh cricket has improved a lot, even though it was Pakistan who won the match yesterday, but it was Bangladesh who beat them morally.
What a match, what a fight, just made me pray for Bangladesh win..
Very much thrilling cricket match..

I would like to see Bangladesh win.
They had played really really well.
Is this their first final in the ODI format??? It may be as they just wins one or 2 matches in a tournament.
They had defeated the both world cup finalist.
They are playing well, now 68/1 in 17.1 overs.
Tamim is batting really well with the half centuries.
If they wins, This will their first Series win were some good Teams are participating.
And new Champions to ASIA.....
They Plays very well as a team, even under pressure, and the fan support to they is outstanding.
I would like to see them winning this time.
Pak really have a good bowling attack, So it will be tough for the host to win under lights....

Well, I heard in commentary that Bangladesh is going to play their first final in ODI format, so i am not very much sure on it..
But they are really playing well.
I think many here wish Bangladesh to win this match as they are exhibiting some good fighting cricket. This is not the old Bangladesh team which will give up the match simply.They will fight till the end, so even if PAk wins, they have to fight for it.

I from the heart want the Bangladesh to win as they are the minnows and are always under rated but in this series they have played some good cricket and i would say Rahim had played the greatest innings to take their team to victories.You have rightly said that Pakistan has one of the best bowling attack but the target they had set is not that big as the bangladesh can't chase down.For now they are in good position to launch with 42/0 in 11 overs and with all the wickets intact so i think they will chase down the Target of 237.
As far Tamim is there with the team then they are going to get much closer to the target and win an epic series were srilanka is not there in the finals who were the favorites to win the Asia cup and India who chased down mammoth 330,but both the team are out of the final.
Yes I do think new Asian Champions are going to be born and History will be made today.
