how do i make internet explorer work?

hey, my damn grandmother wont use google chrome as the rest of the world but internet explorer wont work, how do i make it work? i do not wanna uninstall and install cuz then she just want me to get all the toolbars back
btw, i use the same computer with the problem, just using google chrome like the rest of the world....

Hello :), To help you I need to know exactly what do you mean when you say it won't work. It doesn't open? It freezes? It opens but doesn't connect to the pages? It makes your computer explode like a bomb leaving behind a nuclear winter so your neighbors threatened you to stop or they will lynch you? :p. It's also important to specify which operative system the computer has. However if its slow or it doesn't open try uninstalling the toolbars one by one and see if one of them caused the problem. Or try updating the ie to the latest version using the windows update, that way it could repair the problems, although I'm not sure if the toolbars will stay since I don't use IE.

I agree, there has been to few details given. Hope the problem is not with the neighbors :)
There also may be some problem in the Internet Options, if you run a proxy you need to use correct configuration.

I am merely 30 years old. I hate getting older but it’s inevitable. As per now I doubt anything has changed. I am still able to do most of what I used to do in my early years. However I find loud music a little irritating and am not sure if age has anything to do with it. Do you think my age is related to my hating loud music?
Plenty of other browsers - some even look like IE a bit!

firefox is really good. Lately I have been having a lot of problems with internet explorer. A lot of the pages that I would pull up will not anymore. So I downloaded firefox it was such a big help. I wish I would have known this earlier I could have saved myself a lot of time and stress. Switching to something else will do you a lot of good. Internet explorer is very slow. At first I thought it was my computer but when I switched browsers I realized it was the IE instead.
