I had never heard of Zurker before, so I just looked it up. It looks like its still in progress of being created, so the website was inaccessible. I did some more digging. Turns out you have to be invited to use it. That just means you have to sign up via referrals from members. I'm interested in trying out new websites, especially social networks, so I found a referral link and started creating my account. Its a lot like Facebook, from what I'm seeing, but the members own it instead of just the creators. And I think what it does is connects people based on their interests. It seems okay so far. If anyone else wants to check it out, here's a referral link... http://www.zurker.com/i-15565-oaqlsmlkfi

I have not heard of this website. What do they mean by "run by its members?" That sounds interesting.

This site seems like it might get a pretty good following. It seems to be doing what World of Warcraft did with it's open source for add-ons. Why pay a bunch of techies to make new features in the game when you can have the players make what they need, then you morph that into an in-game option. The site I found for it says that they are going to be using reviews from their members to find out what needs fixing or needs the boot. To be honest anything that actually listens to it's members instead of cramming more bad video games at you like some social media sites will be quite refreshing. They also are going to be doing pay outs dependent on the number of referrals you have.
