Who could Franco be...who would that make Jason be? General Hospital

I have been saying all alone that Franco could turn out to be Jason's brother (same mother - Susan Moore) and no one knew about him as Susan got in with the mob guy (Jerome?) so that is prob his daddy.I thought the baby in the DVD would be Franco Moore....Jason's younger half brother. And I really thought this when they had the DVD surface of (supposedly) Jason as a newborn in the hospital but a zoom in on the bracelet would say Franco Moore...making him Jason's half brother..who got all the "silver spoon" treatment while he got the left overs.
However, Today Spenilli said he honed in on the ID bracelet and found the name of the hospital..supposedly Jason was born at. Jason said Monica said it was in NY, but never mentioned the name of the hospital.
But that gives me another thought (The writers are probably watching my posts for ideas!!!) What if Jason is not really Jason Quartermaine? What if Franco is the child of Susan Moore and Alan Quartermaine...and someone SWITCHED the babies bracelets at birth!? That would mean Franco is a Quartermaine and Jason is.....who could Jason be?

What if Franco and Jason were twins separated at birth? That would mean that Jason killed his "other half". Even brothers would devastate him. If it were as you say with Franco being the real Quartermaine, and he did look more like Alan could be his father, how about Luke somehow being Jason's father? They look more similar. Or, it would be interesting if Jason were a Cassidine or Webber. That would mean he was related to Elizabeth and make his previous relationship with her icky. I guess time will tell.

I have to agree. I had such high hopes for Franco, just because he was James Franco. They seemed to waste him, whether due to not knowing what to do with him or his lack of availability. He started out cool and creepy and just fizzled.
If he were related to Jason, wouldn't that mess up the DNA test that Sam took? Esp if twins separated at birth?

Well..."unknown children" pop up all over Port Chuck these days!! Maybe him and Sonny will be brothers...that'd be stupid. Susan, his mother was having relationship with Jerome...the then mob boss....and not sure, but that could be who killed her, don't remember, but they could make Jason be the son/grandson of a conflicting mob family from Sonny! Then they would be enemies instead of best friends!!! That'd be a good one! I guess they couldn't be brothers as in Jason's younger brother as Susan was killed shortly after Jason was born...like within a year If memory serves...so she couldn't have had a child after Jason. But..stranger things have happened! Only in the Soapy World can the past be changed!!! I just hope they not only finish this Franco storyline SOON but make it worth our while for hanging on for over a year for the finale!

I hope they keep him a Quartermaine. I would hate it if he wasn't. By the way, what do you think of the original actress who played Heather Webber bringing back that role? Plus, they just said there is a huge piece of casting news coming up. I'm kind of afraid to find out.

I always kind of liked HEeather Webber in an erie kind of way! Never forget that part where she was in the mental hospital place (Oakhaven?) and she kept taking a nurses cape and hat and slipping out of the facility and going to "haunt" her mother and Diana Taylor...who had her child. That was a good storyline. I have no problem with bringing her back. Could be really good!
I hope they don't disgrace the historical Quartermaine family by make Jason not a Q, but it seems that writers these days have not scrupples, morals or family values so it'd be right down their alley! At most...just a half brother.
THen again..other than not being a Q... I'd take ANYTHING if it'd get rid of the Franco storyline! A year now and we still don't know what the deal is with him and they bring him up for a day or two then nothing for 3 months or so! Old, really old news, writers! Poop or get him off the pot!!!
I haven't heard anything about casting, sounds kind of errie...I have noticed that the "coming on" where they show the characters face with their name and the actors name...has gone down to about 5 seconds instead of the nearly/about 15 it used to be. THey only show about 5 characters..music has changed too.
No prob for me if they get rid of Anthony, Liz, Robin (done deal), Luke, Anna, and even Patrick. With the problems with Maxie..wonder if that character is on the way out? The current actress has just not done the character the justice Kristin Storms did. They will probably put her in Cherrydale..or whatever the local mental hospital is.

I haven't been watching GH long although I watched briefly a few years ago. I thought something was mentioned in the last episode when Spenneli(sp) was telling Jason what he was able to get off of the disk that Franco left somewhere that Monica was not Jason's birth mother and what Spenneli found referred to the hospital where Jason was born. This supports what I think I remember others speculating about here that Jason and Franco were twins and that the baby Sam is carrying could still be Franco's baby because I think I saw somewhere that Franco raped her but that a DNA test showed the baby was Jason's baby but the twin thing could mess that up.
