ex munchen defender , Bixente Lizarazu praise Munchen and the attack style of munchen especially for Mario Gomez..
Lizarazu had ever played for Munchen in 1997-2004 and ever play for Marseille in 2004-2005 but come back again to Munchen and retired in Munchen..
he said that defender of marseille will get a hard challenge for many of the smart creator like ribery, robben , thomas muller and one of the best forward, Mario Gomez..
do you agree what Mr Lizarazu opinion??

It seems "Liza" was right, Bayern's offensive players have done their job, although I expected more from them. The two goals were resulted by great counter attacks, with Robben, Muller and Gomez in a good form. Ribery was a huge disappointment, like in the other important games. He has never done a great a game for Bayern till now in the Champions League.

Yes, that would be great. I would be very happy to see my favorite team to win the Champions League in a season where they eliminated Real Madrid.

I think that Bayern is the big favorite here and since they have the 2nd match in Munich I don't think it would be easy for Marseilles to take over them. I just hope that we wouldn't see a surprise here cause Marseilles aren't that enjoyable to watch so far. Very defending team even with teams like the deformed Inter or Olympiacos and Dortumund (also deformed in the group stage) in the group stage.

I agree with Lizarazu's assessment of Muller, Robben and Ribery. As for Gomes, I have my doubts. While he score lots of goals, those times I have watched Bayern Munich play, I am not convince that he is that good. There is this niggling feeling that it is the rest of his team-mates that he could be scoring so freely.

I know Lizarazu, he's a great defender when playing for Munchen. He's a versatile type of defender able to play further up or deep back. I agree with what he said about Munchen's attackers, but it's sad that given their attacking options, creativity in midfield, they are struggling to score goals. Not to mention the thrashing of Basel and in Bungesliga for the last 3 matches, other than those and some earlier matches, they seem to lose form along the way before dortmund overtook them and stretch their lead. Munchen is an unpredictable team and it needs consistency throughout.

i think he is right..
Bayern have such a great power in Attack.
they have killing strikier in front line.
in wing side, they also have some fast player with skilfull technique that really help in Bayern.
their winger can be a creator ro mkae a goal for their striker or they also can be the goal getter itself.
i think everyteam that challenge Bayern should have a great defense for cover Bayern attacking.
cheers.
