At our local mall they always get the movies right before they are sent to rentals and for sale on DVD. I got to go watch The Chipmunks Shipwrecked. it was a really cute movie. What was really awesome the cruise ship they used was the Carnival Dream ship and thats the ship my husband and I took for our Cruise this past Christmas. it was awesome to see the ship again and a very good comedy with the Chipmunks too. I give it a thumbs up for family entertainment! Have you seen it?

Chipmunks marooned on an island after accidentally ending up in the ocean, absolutely hilarious. Using a real life ship in the making of ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked’ was genius. This gives it a sense of realism even as an animation. This adventure comedy is one that cuts across all ages making it a good family movie that grand parents, parents and children can enjoy.

I haven't seen it, but when it comes on TV I will watch it! I liked the first one, and like most animated movies. Seeing something that is farmiliar to you always makes the film seem special. When there is something filmed in my city, which is happening more and more, I watch it just to see if I recognize anything. I was in New York City 4 or 5 times, and always like to see the places I had been. Also in "Hawaii-Five O", there are a lot of places that I remember from my two trips there.

I am from St Charles Missouri where our first state capitol was. It is all historic on Main street. Lots of antique shops and eateries. When they came and decided to use our Main Street for return to Huck Finn, there were tons of dirt dropped on the cobblestone street to make it look like dirt streets back in the olden time. But I always wondered why the cobblestone street would not have been good enough too. but I have to say the work crew when they cleaned up you could not tell the streets were ever paved with dirt.

No, I haven't seen it, and am not likely to, either. I never really liked the Chipmunks. But I can understand how seeing the ship in the movie would make you feel. For the first few years that I moved back to Ontario from Vancouver, whenever I saw a venue I recognized in a show that I knew was filmed in Vancouver, I got a minor thrill.
