You could try sites like Odesk and Elance. There are a variety of programming, data entry, and article writing jobs that you bid on. If the employer chooses you, they pay you the amount agreed upon. I used to write a bunch of articles on that site and would make anywhere from $80-$125 extra a month. Some people make a lot more than that, but they also do a variety of jobs. I stuck with just one employer. The only reason why I stopped doing it is because I honestly got bored quickly. I was writing 250 word articles over and over again about the same thing. I wrote about party planning. It was always the same subject, just the celebration was different. After awhile it just got old. I didn't venture off to many other fields though. I do know that there were some forum posting jobs that paid pretty good for you to make 20-30 posts a day. The only problem was that they were forums that I wasn't really interested in. You don't need to do any refferals for these sites. I would advise that you look into a variety of jobs though instead of sticking to just one. You don't want to burn yourself out on the same job like I did. If I wasn't in school, I would probably go back on the sites. I just don't have as much time as I used to. I like these type of sites where there is a varitey of different topics to post on. I can spend hours on here and treat it like a job without getting burnt out.

Understand why they want referrals? This is the way the sites increase their credibility for their sites. Join sites that dont need referrals.
