hair styling gel or styling wax?

Hello mylotters! Who uses here hair styling wax? Who uses here hair styling gel? Normally, i am using styling wax and the effect is that it makes hair sticky to make it more manageable and there are different style of styling wax which depends on your type of hair and design. Today, i just bought a hair gel to use as a substitute for wax. Normally, when we were kids, gel makes hare compact and shiny which is somehow different to wax. These days, styling gels differ only there holding capacity, some have extreme hold, others are normal hold. I tried the normal hold, and i can feel my hair more manageable unlike when i use styling wax. However, the good thing is that, it makes my hair non sticky and gives shine. . .By the way, i am using the same brand of wax ang gel.
