ATM Might Not Be Able To Serve You Well At Easter

Philippines

Easter Week had already started and tomorrow starts the non-working holidays in our country. I had experienced year ago that it was really hard to withdraw money from automated teller machine in almost all of the banks. I could do nothing but to simply have a quiet time in the house because I could not get out. Having no enough money at Easter would not make my vacation great. I do not want that to happen again. So, if you also have such days off in your country, you have to go out now and have some amount withdrawn for you to sustain for few days of holiday.

Hi keshlois, I have never heard of this situtation, However you have figured out what to do to elimanate this happening to you ever again on Easter...I've never heard of it because I was probably into the Easter egg hunts with my grandsons and not trying to spend any money... Enjoy your Easter!!!!!

Hi! Yes, I sure did enjoy my easter. I had it with my family at a resort. I had a better ATM experience this year.

Yeah, it happened to me last year to, and again it happened to me yesterday, lol! The line was too long and the ATM was responding slow, and another disappointment was it was dispensing large bills, i.e. 1000 and 500 only, and when it was my turn, i only got 900, so i have to settle for 500.

Yes, I like to go a day or two ahead of the holiday. I learned that a few years ago. Went to the ATM and there was no money in the teller. I guess everyone waited until the last minute. Best Wishes!

It is better to be early than not able to withdraw the money intended for the holy week. I have watched a news that those who would like to withdraw their money in the ATM machine need not to worry because banks will going to secure enough money. It will doubled than a usual ordinary day. But still we must depend on this, preparedness is very important to get ahead.

great tip my friend, banks will be closed, these few days so really better stock up with some cash and better to also stock some food because most mall will be closed for the day and most of the establishment will only be open half day since this is a national holiday.

That's the real essence of the Holy Week. He he. There are lots of things that would make you happy even without money. What's the use of credit card anyway?

You must be blessed to be in Canada. Well, the Easter vacation had passed and good news that I did not experience any difficulty in withdrawing some amount of money through the money dispenser outside banks. Maybe the bank's personnel in our country have been informed of the case.
