In the match against the one of the favorites in this IPL- Mumbai Indians, pune warriors started there IPL season 5 by a superb victory. After loosing some quick wickets, pune managed to reach 129 runs which was one of the low scores in T20 cricket. But in return, pune warriors bowled well under the great captaincy of ganguly. pune attacked the one of the strongest batting line up in this IPL from the first over itself. At the end pune managed to make a victory of 29 runs.

Truly great work by Gangully in guiding Pune warriors to victory against mighty and tournament favorites Mumbai Indians. Though M.I. were playing without their star player Sachin Tendulkar who was out once again on injury, the team is full of cricketing talent. Gangully was brilliant in his field placement and bowling changes and did not allow batsmen TO settle down. Earlier Smith and Uthappa helped P.W. to post a dissent total after they started badly loosing their 4 front line batsmen with just 47 on board and looked like they would fold up under hundred. Brilliant move by Gangully to open with spinner Murali Kartik paid off when he got Levi on his second ball brilliantly stumped by Uthappa. M.I. could never recover from that shock and lost wickets at regular interval and ultimately managed just 101/9 in their quota of overs giving P.W. win by 28 runs. Good start by P.W. in I.P.L. season5.

pune played with four spin bowlers and dada rotated every bowlers nicely. not giving chance for any batsmen to settle down. the real star of today's match was dada and dinda.

At first the game was quite in the hands of mumbai indians. They really bowled well for the first 10 oves well and they had some early wickets which made the opposition on pressure but later robin uthappa and smith had managed to get them at a decent score. The bowling attack from the warriors was extremly brilliant. They also had early wickets. All the bowlers had put the best efforts to the end of the game. Dinda was doing at his best. He was the who had took 4 wickets for the team. Hope they will do the same in the next matches

I think not for first 10 overs, for entire first innings the match was in the side of Mumbai Indians. the first two overs of second innings turned the game for Pune.
