It is common for us. I also remember that when I was in senior and junior middle school, I always disagree with my parents. What they said I thought is wrong. But when I grow up, I know that they just think too much for me.

I have made it a habit not to pick phone calls from numbers that I do not know; especially mobile phone numbers. I pick land line numbers seeing as the call might be for an interview for a job that I applied for. If one really needs to reach me using a number I do not know, they should send a message first to let me know who they are.

There was a wonderful story in the bible about a similar situation with the family of the great Isaac. Isaac had two sons, Jacob and Esau. Jacob loved his mother more than his father, while Esau was his father's favorite. It turns out that the family had to be parted because of the things happened. I learned from this story that parents should have no favorites, or children should treat their parents the same. Division in the family is not good just because we don't agree or there's a problem. Therefore, I think that it's not normal for children to split themselves on who to agree among their parents. Have a wonderful day ahead.
