An animal hunter and an animal lover, can they be compatible?

My co - worker who is an animal lover, and she just love those animals, and hope they can be protected. Her newly - met boyfriend, who is an animal hunter, as she claimed he is. Once she was invited to his home, he saw those souvenir, and some animal heads hanging on the wall, which make her uncomfortable. She just doubt that this relationship can be continued, since they have opposite hobby. We all advice her to not make such rush judgment, maybe he hunts in his spare time with friends. He may not be that cruel toward animals. She should observe and see to make the final judgment. What do you think of that?

Youre right. even though they have opposite hobbies, it cannot be concluded that their relationship will not work. maybe they will learn to adjust in their own hobbies in a matter of time.

Since I'm an animal lover, I think they are not compatible. There will always come a time that they will fight or argue about it. They should stop their relationship now unless one is willing to change for the other.

I don't know maybe it depends on their own attitude towards their relationship. But I hate animal killers just to hang it on the wall for decoration that's a crime. But if he can change her mans hobby why not for he is worth to be a good boyfriend to sacrifice his hobby for her.

I am afraid this could be a problem later on when they both step into marriage life. There will be too many differences on what they like doing.

If I were the girl, I would feel the same. I hate people who kill animals. How can I love someone who is cruel to animals? I don't care if it's his hobby or not. I will always have nightmares if I'll be with him knowing that he has killed so many animals, and he will always do it no matter what.
