I am losing weight at the moment, and I have learned that walking is one of the best things that I can do in order to burn the calories that I need to in order to lose the weight that I am aiming to. There are a lot of wonderful places around my village in which you can walk, which I didn't even realise before I started losing weight and stepped out of my front door into the countryside that I just used to drive around without even thinking about what I was doing at the time. Walking is excellent, and we should never take it for granted.
