my daughter left for abilene this morning. we got to meet the counselor that's been helping her through this entire process. we didn't stay to see the bus off as i couldn't bear seeing her leave. we couldn't come straight home as my husband had a dr appt at the local veterans hospital. so we spent the next 3 hours there. that's quick! it was nice to have something to distract me for a while. when we finally did get home, i went straight to bed. i think after working all this time without a day off and the emotional turbulence i've putten myself through, i fell straight asleep. this is the first time i've fallen asleep and slept actually slept for quite some time. my daughter did call and let us know she's having a good time. she's taking lots of pictures for us, meeting other students. i was glad to hear all that. she can't wait to get home and show us all the pics she took. it's late here and i'm going back to bed. gotta get up at 6 to be at work by 730. another long day ahead of me, no more days off till we find a weekend girl. :(
