There are many internet browsers to choose from now, but which do you think is the fastest internet browser in terms of surfing the web, watching videos or downloading them? In my experience, I find SeaMonkey and Opera as some of the fastest out there. How about you?

If you have fast internet server that would be fine. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I have a feeling internet explorer may be one of the slowest browser on the web.

I don't like IE in any way. Haven't used it again since I started using FireFox about 10 years ago :) It's the first thing I install!

I rarely watch anything or download anything using a browser. I always have a download manager if I download files. As for surfing the net, the fastest I have used before is the opera but I uninstalled it because of problems in my RAM. I also have security issues about it. I already run 4 browsers at the same time. All because of what I do, designing websites--(I'm still an amateur). Chrome is enough as a representative of the other browsers but not for FireFox, Safari and IE. I use these four to test my web page and determine the differences in them. Right now, I am using 4 browsers still: Chrome, FireFox, IE and RockMelt to multi-task in my online earning.

It's the first time I ever heard of RockMelt. Can you give me ideas what it's features are and how it performs? It's interesting you're into website designing, SinfulRose. I can imagine you must have a computer with big capacity, because I know each browser takes a lot of space in your computer. :)

RockMelt Environment - It's an internet browser much like google chrome with certain special features that allows you to chat with your facebook friends even though you are not in the FB site.
My computer is designed for multi-media purpose, unlike the regular computers for home users only. My processor is AMD, big RAM and BIG processing power but it heats up too much too. The brand? Toshiba. By the way sometimes I get burnt for using it because of the heat. It really is best to place this thing on a very cold room. It can handle imaging, gaming, and even animating jobs so I love this laptop of mine like a best friend. This has been my partner for 4 more than 4 years already and still counting. Anyways, RockMelt is similar to the environment of chrome. The only feature that interest me about it in the first place is that while browsing, you can still chat with people in facebook. I use such a browser because I multi-task: while I MyLot, I chat with groupmates in facebook--Yeah, it's mainly for school-purpose. It's as fast as chrome without plugins and so it's reading of website codes. It's feature that is a bit similar to FireFox is only it's set of menus. Instead of a wrench, it's the button with it's name on it. Here, I've attach the image of how it looks like.

I prefer Chrome than any other internet browsers. It loads up fast and is very user-friendly. However, it still matters on the speed of your internet connection on how fast your browser will load.

My idea of trying out Chrome is being reinforced. Thanks for giving feedback, shekinahmia. Anyway, besides the convenience of a generally faster ways of surfing the web, I'm interested in knowing which browser is the fastest to be able to use Traffic Exchanges easier and faster.
