Sometimes I have a very bad temper and in my previous post, think don't talk, i said that i'm learning to control it and try my best to think first before doing things in a rush.
Well, last night I had the opportunity to share this wisdom with a friend. He was just so mad and wanted to do something in revenge. The person who offended him didn't mean what he did and in fact he wasn't aware that he got my friend mad as hell. I didn't want my friend to do something because i want to open up his mind, make him become a better person and not someone who would just jump instantly when being poked.
I just talked and talked to him until he calmed down and totally forgotten what took place. Then I asked him if he still wanted to take revenge and he said not anymore. And he thanked me for being there for him. It's nice to be of service and yeah i did it.

That's being a true friend indeed to your friend , Toni. You helped him see the incident in an entirely opposite way of taking revenge. 
Sometimes, we are like that. At the spur of a very outrageous incident, we want to get even. But , counting 1 to 10, would help us to calm down and think clearly.
Keep that attitude Toni, and for sure your friends wouldn't want losing you ever.

Thanks D! I'm just trying to improve myself. I still have a lot of things to do to become a good friend, a good parent, and a good person in this world. Besides i've got only one life to live so i guess i just have to be the best that i can be.

You don't have to do a lot of things to become a good friend or a good person Toni. Just be yourself, and if the friend keeps joining you, it means she likes you, the way you are.

Wow. That is good. It is good that there is someone beside him all the time, unlike some other people I saw in NEWS where they commit crime because of revenge. Maybe those people who commit crime for the sake of getting revenge are alone and no one could talk to, or they have a friend but they cannot share anyone what they feel inside because they do not trust anyone and so, they are still alone. It is really good that there is really someone who is always beside him.

He sure is glad to have me as a friend. Even his dad told him that he has changed a lot since he met me. I could have done things to improve his personality but the truth is, it's all in him. If he didn't want it, he would have never listened to me.

i think that is an achievement as often times as friends..we tend to add more to the fire..and sometimes it will grow bigger..but this time you were able to help him calm down till he does not want to do anything but forget it. If only all of us could do that, then maybe it will lessen all bad things. 1 person likes this

Yeah, i wish i had that super power to stop all sorts of violence in the world. Then we can all live peacefully with less fear of being in danger.
