Does anyone make this? WHEW what a mess it makes LOL I was making one from scratch about 10pm one night when my kids were still home. Well wouldnt you know my egg beaters gave out. so like an idiot I thought I was going to throw the stuff out. But then my eyes fell on the blender sitting on the counter in the corner. I grabbed it and threw the red stuff in the blender. I plugged it in and like an idiot forgot to put the top on. Lets just say I never tried to make another one! Last year my daughter had come to stay with me while hubby was in Iraq. So we went to the store and she said mom they got cake mixes 10 for 10.00 I said ok get a few. So we picked out our favorites like butter, and german chocolate, and carrot cake, and lemon and strawberry then our eyes fell on the red velvet cake mix. She said do you like this? I said I don't remember. She grabs one and puts it in the cart. So about a week later she wants to make a cake. I said ok didnt really think about it. She started making this red velvet cake mix and I tell you that is the reddest stuff and it just seems to follow you everywhere in the kitchen LOL Don't know how, but seriously I can make other cakes and leave no tracks of it. This stuff takes wings and grows on the counter, in the sink. I swear I won't live long enough to see another one baked in my house Two of them in my lifetime is plenty! Anyone else make this kind of cake?
