Here is the deal. I forget like its nobody's business. I have so much on my plate that i forget to take care of myself. I have to have sticky notes all over my house to help remind me to do this at this time and so forth. I have been good at that but lately, he(myhusband) and my youngest daughter have been taking them off the walls and throwing it away. I forgotten to take my showere and to shave. A girls gotta shave!! Did i tell u i forgot to do his laundry?? and he didn't have clean clothes to wear for work this morning because he took my note and threw it away. now he's mumbling that i need to have my head examined, ugh the nerve! men!! why are they like this? is it just mine or que???? I work at 5 in the morning and i get off just before he leaves to work. My daughter was late to school this morning and he didn't tell me, the school princepal called me wanting to know if everything was ok at home. i told her my husband did that and she understood! whew! so now i have to talk to him about that. i dont like her being late to school but he's gonna think its no big deal and it is a big deal. its kinda like going to work late. oh and did i tell u work sucks! i only make $7 an hour. and im pt(parttime) I dont need to work but they need help so im helping. he wants me to stay home and not work. he's like a gorilla beating on his chest... im taking at home therapy! otherwise i'd pull out all my hair lol!! ill be back here later but duty calls! happy MyLotting

The stress causes forgetfulness so that may be partially why. However your idea of sticky notes is a good one. I'd start writing on the notes that if they get taken down whatever was written on them won't get done. Instead of griping he should have realized that your sticky note was placed there so that HIS clothes would get washed. If he doesn't like it maybe he should do his own clothes. I am minimum wage part time and I earn $7.50 an hour, that's still not enough to barely scratch the surface of what I need.

it bites!! that is not gently said..i have asked that all housekeepers and laundry get paid at least $10 but i dont think they liked it. and i hope i dont loose my job over that...but if i do, it'll be ok! my husband has been great too! the day i got hired i came home and spoke to him. i was like we've got to devide the chores. i can't do everything anymore. So last night he did the dishes. i only work about 4 hours in the morning til he has to go to work. so i leave at 5 in the morning and he takes our kinder to school which is a block away and i leave work at 9:30. I also get an allowence each time he gets paid..i also work at home but that slowed big time when i got this job. so im about to get back to work if this little buger will let me haha!

I am totally like this. My husband thinks there is something wrong with me too. I have 3 young children, a FT corporate job, and a husband who might as well be one of the children when it comes to doing things for himself. I am the cook, maid, story reader, laundromat, chauffeur, accountant, errands, groceries, etc, oh and did I mention I work 8 hrs a day, lol. No wonder I forget things. But, I have learned to keep a day planner, and it has helped. Although, I don't always get it all done, at least I can focus on the important tasks for the day and mark it off as I go along. Like I tell my husband, if you don't want to jump in and help out, then don't complain about it. :)
