everyone seemed to have given it their all tonight. they are all developing so well and they are getting better with each week. in the end someone HAS to go home and each week the voting gets harder and harder. who do you think is headed to the bottom 3 this week? who do you think we will be going home this week? i want to hear the opinion of the mylotters before it happens lol just to see what people think and then what really happens tomorrow night :) i think that Elise will be in the bottom 3 again and she may be the 1 to go home but i could be wrong she had her good moments. i also think that colton has the chance to be in the bottom 3. i have liked him for the most part and my husband to but tonight i didnt enjoy it as much as i use to. but i am unable to deside who the 3rd person in the bottom 3 may be. skyler and phillip were AWESOME tonight!! jessica is finally showing more emotion :) holly is coming out of her shell :) and joshua he has had a good voice this whole show. he can sing a lot of diffrent ways and i think he is very talented. what are your thoughts???

It was a great show. I like all the contestants. I agree that Elise will probably be in the bottom three and may be the one to go home. She turned in, what I thought was, one of the weakest performances of the night. I loved the final song as sung by Josh. Really moving. Holly did a really good job as far as singing but she is still little stiff in demeanor. I am always impressed with Jessica and, like a lot of other Idol fans ,shocked that she was the one who was sent home last week. The others sort of blur because I get tired watching a two hour show. Maybe I am wrong but for some reason, I think two go home tomorrow. That is because of the save last week.

bigfoot might be right: Jermaine was disqualified unexpectedly so it is possible that only one will go home tomorrow. Idol has so many weeks. They have to plan the show just right. Holly is not as assured and poised as some of the other contestants but she has time. She is young. I think Jessica is the youngest and she is real poised. I think all our contestants have great futures ahead of them.

even tho holly is showing a little more emotion to me she is concentrating to hard on singing. like you said she seems stiff and nervous (which of course who wouldnt be but some can hide it better than others). i think that is she was to let loose a little more she would be a lot better. i agree elise just didnt seem to "bring it" like she needs to at this point in the competition. i think she should have gone home on diffrent occassions but she keeps getting to stay. tonight everyone had their stand out moments but her. i wasnt impressed and i am pretty confident that she will go home. jessica she has a great voice but sometimes i feel like it needs moer of something. i was in shock when she was in the bottom 3 and i knew that the judges would save her. i do not know what "america" was thinking when they were voting last week and i hope that they do not make the same mistakes this year. i also get bored with it after a while but i pay attention to the ones that i like and the ones that catch my ear when i am not paying attention. there are only a few on there that are like that. they were talking about this on the news the other day....it was never actually said that 2 go home tomorrow night. even tonight they did not say. i thought the same thing but many people seem to think that because everyone is so good that only 1 will go home.

@bigfoot -- i think that she has the chance to be something really great BUT not yet i think she is a little to young to be ready for this. like you said she needs to open up and feel WAY more comfortable up on the stage. i also think she will not win the whole thing but i think also she will atleast be there another week and we may see her again some day :)

I would like the bottom 3 to be Jessica, Skyler and Elise with Elise going home. But I think Holly may be in the bottom instead of Jessica. Oh, Joshua could be in the bottom too. I'm just hoping for a Colton/Phillip finale.

everyone has a right to their opinion :) but i have liked skyler from the beginning. she stood out for me but i listen to country music :) this may be why i do not see her in the bottom 3 lol but everyone has their own opinion and she might end up there she has been there a few times throughout the show. i think the only 1 out of the whole group that has not been in the bottom 3 at all is Phillip. i am hoping for it to be a skyler/phillip finale :)

I don't follow American Idol , but , I ave just seen Jessica's audition and her story is really touching. Her boyfriend got a stroke while celebrating his birthday , he passed out and after a month and a half , he woke up and forgot who Jessica was for him. She helps him with his memory therapy and it is really nice to see how they are together and he barely speaks now.

yes her story is really touching and i do not know what i would do for my boyfriend/husband to wake up and not know who i am. i would stick by him but i know it would hurt me a lot because things never would really be the same. i think sometimes people vote on the life stories and which one is more touching and which ones "need" but i could be wrong to assume that but lately a lot of people are thinking that the reason the guys have been winning is because of the little girls (teenagers) with cell phones are voting for the "cute" guy and not the person with the most talent.

Its obvious that girls and women hate female contestants as most of them wanted them gone regardless of their performance. It seemed like Josh and all of the female singers are in big trouble. I didnt like Colton and Phillip's performance but they were safe due to their female fanbase, The girls and women who watches X-factor and The voice seemed to have a different mindset from idol voters.

Did the Male Audience just decided to start a war and managed to save the girls.

i have been woundring the same thing. i knew for sure that it was going to Elise and when they said Colton was going home my mouth just dropped. i know he had a bad show but i still figured he was safe because he is waht most girls think is a sweet cutie :) i have heard of x factor and the voice but i have never seen anything about them. what is it? is it the same thing as american idol almost??

yes i think that most of the voters are girls and they do not vote for talent or performance they vote for the cute GUY it would be nice if they could stop the way people are voting but when it is up to america there really is nothing anyone can do. i am not so sure i always agree with america but i guess onlyu time will tell.

Well, I watch this show and have been keeping my eye on a few. I don't like the way the judges have been trying to influence their power on the viewers at all. Then they later say thing slike "we don't don't want anyone to go home" so innocently and without care after they literally tried to throw one of their least favorites Colton, under the bus! Now, I don't know which was worse, the fact they did that when i thought Colton put his own spin and did it well on the second song they thought was so "bad" or the fact they had to use the save last week cause if they did it this week no one would have even voted cause whoever would have been last they know they would have stayed. You see what I mean? Anyways, there will be not one but two people voted off tonight, leaving me to now worry for Colton more than ever, due to the judges control they have over some viewers and how they try to influence decisions. I'm just hoping Colton has enough in his fan base from both last year and this year to make it through. He makes the show interesting for me, he is not over the top and screaming much older songs than he is, just does his own thing and always has the best stage presence than most of them. He puts so much emotion in all of the songs he does, and he has never gotten a single standing ovation from any of the judges. By the way, have you noticed that never is just one judge standing, it's all three. That is due to Randy being "in charge" (once again) of how and when the other two judges stand up for whom Randy wants to stay. I'm done with the show, mentally, if Colton goes home tonight. He has never been in the bottom three and if he goes tonight just for one song he didn't do up to par ( according to the judges) it will be a sure fire shame. I loved the songs and I will buy them, and I have never done that for anyone on Idol. I think Jessica and Josh have good voices, but I can't say all that screaming will get me to buy their albums. It is way over the top with them both. Even if they were going this week, I'm sure they will still do well. But I'm not feeling like they will be going anywhere, Idol has who they want to win already as far as I see it. It's Phillip and either Skylar or Jessica. I would bet that either one does next to nothing after the show. They do not have the stage presence or experience compared to Colton, which to me is important in itself. Steven T. has already said twice to Colton that he is ready right now for being an artist. Then he says something stupid like he didn't like that song he sang last night when I thought it was tons better than Phillip's first song. I wonder if those monkeys, oops I mean judges actually know a good song when they hear one? Anyways it's my opinion on the show. It's really losing it's appeal to me right about now, though. I want Elise and Phillip to go but I think Colton will be in his place. It makes me sad.

thank you so much i am SO glad that someone agrees with me. i have been thinking the same thing about the judges. i know they want to tell them how much they liked them but as an example at one point the judge said "please dont send this boy home america please dont send him home". that is basically telling america who to vote for and who not to vote for. i think te judges should be strictly able to give positive critisism or say it was good better than before andleave it at that. i agree with you about the save that would have made it pointless and steven tyler said it him self that the save would be used after they say who the bottom 3 were. i am very glad that the judges "made" colton try-out again this year. he has a lot of talent and you never know what he is going to do each week. i think it is a little wrong he hasnt gotten "a standing ovation" he has deserved it many times. everyone else has gotten one and this is the boy they wanted to try out so badly. i havent noticed til you mentioned it but you are right it seems that randy is "the leader of the pact". this is just my opinion but i sometimes feel like randy is trying to take over simons spot in some of the things he says to the contestants and i would rather him just be himself. no one can replace simon!! i am also afraid colton will be going home. in my opinion i only want elise to go home i think the others deserve atleast 1 more week. just my opinions but i do agree with your veiws to they make a lot of sence :) thank you for your commetn :)
