Help with Amazon MTurk

Is the Amazon MTurk a site like Microworkers where we can complete tasks and earn money? I signed up and saw that the interface is too completcated to understand how to get work. Please tell me how I can go about doing the tasks. And what's the minimum payout there? If I use Amazon as an affiliate program, will the commission get credited in the same account?

Hi abhi_bangal, I have earned more than 500 dollars there, and honestly I am surprised that you could join it recently because I am told they are not accepting new members from India. :) Honestly, the answers are already given by others. :)

Ohh is that so? I didn't know those details. However, I could sign up and I have even contacted a couple of people for the tasks. If that goes on well, I am sure, I am a new member there. By the way, how much time you took to earn that amount? Looks quite envious to me.

I contacted one requester for the job, I think I would be able to do without the needed qualification. I don't know too many details. But from what I know, it was only about 11-12 hours left when I requested the task. But I don't know the procedure how I will be contacted - through the MTurk site only or through the email address. I didn't check the MTurk messages. But I didn't get any message in my email. I even forgot that I had requested the HIT.

I do off an on. Sometimes you get good tasks. :) Other times, I settle for 1 dollar stuff. :) About 2 years. :)

Hello, abhi_bangal! Yes. It's like Microworkers, but it's a lot better because they have thousands of HITs or tasks everyday. As of today, April 20, 2012, 01:31:42, they have 181,086 HITs.

That's also what I thought when I created my account. I thought it's too complicated, but it's not. It's either you work on HITs that don't need a qualification or you need to request for a qualification first. It also occurs that sometimes you are not qualified to work on an specific hit. There is always an explanation.

There is no minimum payout. You just need to work on tasks for 10 days.

@wittynet, Yes, I thought the site is like MW when I saw it. And I had heard about it before as well. I am sure there might be many people who have got confused after seeing the site. I hope I also reach the same conclusion and say that it is quite easy to use. Can you please say what type of qualifications does one need. Do you mean to say that whatever amount we can withdraw after working there for at least 10 days? Does one need to work continuously for 10 days or are breaks allowed? @Dupremo, What? If most of the tasks are not allowed, then how are people earning there?

Well abhi i also join this site and find so many difficulties to earn at-least 0.01 from any task, so i just ignore and never go back to this site because its very unfair manner to complete the task but i have seen their is so many task and if you are complete not doubt you earn much batter money, and i thing more i see they will send the payment to indian by check and the fees is so high, so i just say totally waste of time in this site..

I dont know about affiliate program but yes for Indian users Amazon deduct the amount 4 dollar as processing fee. You can withdraw the amount no limitation but not before completed 4 dollar.
