Do you think India is going to show up anywhere in F1 or Moto GP or SBK or Rally podium in the near future? Well, I don't think so. That's simply because of the irresponsibility of India's Govts. of States & thu Union Govt. itself. Nowadays ads are being telecast on India Govt's public-relationing programmes that no Indian under the age of 18 is allowed or qualified to ride a bike or drive a car. Do you think 18 years of age is some sort of a milestone in anyone's life? Or is that whether there's any store of Govt. of India that supply for free qualification that any Indian above the age of 18 is able to ride or drive a vehicle? Or is it that anyone below this age does not know how to ride or drive? Another question is that whether Indians will get their knowledge of riding a 2 wheeler & driving a 4 or 6 wheeler on the day of their 18th birthday morning when they wake up? What a rubbish rule is this? Also it is funny & stunning that racing technology looses its age. For example, in SBK championships, a bit older people race i.e.,upto an age of 39 from a younger age. In F1 you can find the reigning World Champion is just 25 years of age & is the youngest world champion ever. In MotoGP, look at that, from the age of 14 & 13, new racers make their way into racing. As for MotoGP Rookies championships, the youngest is just 10 years old. But luckily "no" Indian!Thank god. This huge country is not going to make anywhere in racing. Just look at all the other sporting events that India show up. Well, loads are there. But not a single one that we could proudly say that "we are it's all". What a shame that we are getting down the ICC rankings in cricket, in football we are nothing, in Hockey-our national game we are the most disgusted country playing it without a satisfactory performance in the near past. Except for some events like, shooting, golf, tennis (not Sania) etc. there is not a single one that we can proudly say "that's what we are best for". But at F1 racing, well Narain made it-to where? The answer is so simple. He made it to the pits of the Williams F1 team. But if you usually watch F1 you can find Robert Kubica, Nico Rosberg, Robert Doornbors all perform as though they're not rookies, but champions. What are we going to do for racing? We can see that lots of Indians are fans of different bikes, cars & above all this- racing ultimately. But nobody gets an oppurtunity for proving their excellence in racing anywhere except for a few selected places in India. Lots of people nowadays modify bikes & cars to look as though they're for racing & cruising. Yet not a single racer to take India to a race victory in a Premier Class or atleast onto the podium. The Govt. is responsible for this mishap. Anyone of any age who have the guts for racing shall be given oppurtunities for racing. The Govt. should try on conducting races in all cities atleast irrespective of their size with the help of interested companies that will market for the events. Definitely, huge positive response will be received from all pars of India. Everybody will love India to rise in a hot & stylish manner.
