Munching and Pulling on the Hose

This something new, my dog used to love digging holes everywhere in the back yard, there wasn't a spot in the backyard there wasn't a hole, until we decided to pour concerte and lay down tiles. But I never heard of a dog chewing on the hoses, that is definitely something new. Have you tried maybe giving him toys or something else to play with while he is outside in the backyard to distract him from the hoses?

It's rubber and they love to munch on rubbers. Rub some chilli pepper on that hose and let's see if he would want to do it again. My pitbull doesn't do that to our shoes not because i rub chili pepper but i just trained him what to touch and what not to touch by saying no and rewarding him for obeying him. Get him some toys to play with. If he's busy with other things he might not want to touch that hose again.
