If you can be a superhero, which superhero do you want to be?

When we were young, we were used to watching a lot of cartoons and most of us have our own favorite superheroes. We liked them due to their supernatural powers, and we prefer a certain superpower abilities than others. Anyway, all these superheroes have their special gifts of extra powers and abilities and we as ordinary humans may want to have. So if you are given a chance to be a superhero, who do you want to be and how do you plan to use your extraordinary powers in your ordinary life?

No, I think I know what you're talking about. An electrical pole job is probably the one who goes up the electric pole to fix broken poles that causes power failures, is that right? Anyway, welcome to mylot!

I wanted to be flash so that I can do my work efficiently and quickly. Lately, I felt that I haven't got enough time to relax and unwind because of my full time work. When I finish my work quickly, I'll have more time to relax and do recreation like watching tv, surfing the net, and strolling around with my friends. hehehe

Flash indeed has cool powers, and if you can be as fast as him you can finish any physical work in no time. Which leads me to this question, if you are flash what type of work would you apply for? You could easily work in a factory and be the best worker, but factory salary is so small. Or you could work as a waiter and their order comes the moment they finish saying their last order, but this gives them even less salary...lol. Or flash can even easily rob a bank although nobody with good principles would suggest that :D

I had seen many super heroes in many cartoons. I love each of them. In my older times I loves them and I prayed for them 
. I spent my most of the time with them. I am a fan of all the super heroes and I want to become a extreme one which will made by combining all the super heroes. Hope you got me.

Yep, I think I got what you were trying to point out thewonderboy. Maybe that's the reason they are still alive and we can still see them on tv is because you prayed for them :D
Anyway, if you are one super hero with all their powers I think the name 'thewonderboy' would be a good name for such super here, don't you think?

Such a cool question, BetterDays4Me! To be honest, I have not thought about this since the discussions we used to have in high school. I was a big fan of X-men, the animated series and the comic books. This is when I became fascinated with Rogue.
What I especially loved about Rogue was that she could absorb any and everybody's power...and then have the ability herself. So, she could do everything! But there is always a cost and the price she had to pay was 'no human contact'.
As I grew older I lost my fascination with Rogue. Now, I would choose none of them...far too complicated and as Spiderman's uncle said "with great power comes great responsibility" (I am paraphrasing, cannot remember the exact words).
It is nice to dream sometimes though...(-:

Thanks Leeper. Sometimes the child in me wants expression :) I actually forgot some parts of x-men, so I forgot about Rogue's power. I think if she could absorb everybody's power, she could probably have the greatest power compared with the others. She could be very lonely though, because as you said that is the price she has to pay.
It could be nice to have these powers and I think you got the words correctly in the Spiderman movie "with great power comes great responsibility"...and I think there's great wisdom there. If you are gifted with a lot of things, more things are asked of you. So I think we have to use our gifts always for the good...to serve others and only for good purposes.

I think a lot of people wants the ability to fly. I don't know about the power to be able to read minds. It's very possible it would turn you to be a terrible wreck..haha. Maybe if it's possible to read other people's minds only when their thinking of good things about other people. That way when you read their minds, you can see only those thoughts that speaks well of you...sad if nothing comes out and you can't read anything. We all know what that means...haha.

I want to be batman because I admire his fighting skills, so simple yet so effective. I like his gadgets and how he uses his bat mobile, his driving skills are also insane. And also the costume is creative, like a carbon filled suit with rubber protection I mean it just looks bad for me I gotta have one of those I think, just kidding!

I think the appeal of batman is that he is like a regular guy with greater strength and intelligence, plus gifted with a lot of useful gadgets and the proficient skills in using them. I remember the old Batman tv series where the batman actor has no muscles and his belly is bulging a bit...lol. I think Batman's powers are combinations of James Bond and Professor Gadget :D

hmmm well i have heard this question a couple of times already..
others are just so common, but i am not sure if she is a superhero but she was in Xmen lol i guess i like Mystiques powers ( i am not sure the spelling is right) and Rouge's as well

I remember only a few names of the superheroes in Xmen but I remember I enjoyed the movie a lot. Anyway, the superheroes there had a lot of amazing powers. Probably one power I want to have is the ability to fly.

With the abilities you mentioned, It's hard to think of any superhero who can teleport, heal or detect lies...although I can mention a lot of them who can fly :D
If you're a man and you want to be able to listen to people's thoughts, you may want to be Mel Gibson in the movie "What Women Wants" ...he's not a superhero but that definitely is a superpower ability.

I always wanted to be Storm of the X-men. I love her powers, especially the weather control. If I ever get the chance to be her, even just for one day, I'd use her powers to pour rain on the dehydrated places, incite tornadoes, thunderstorms and blizzards on places where my enemies are and maybe cause a little snow here in our country. I think that's me being a little mean, but hey, it's just pure imagination.

You had some ideas helpful to our environment...but mean to your enemies...lol. Anyway, it's good we're friends here in mylot. I also like the idea of having snow here. I never experienced snow because we don't have it in our country and I haven't been to other countries that has winter season. So I pray that either I will be able to travel in a country which has winter...or that you will really be given that power to bring snow :D
