I really needs some help I have been working on getting the screws off for three days now can someone please! tell me how to remove two stuck screws from a metal bed frame fast please?

No I haven't tried that yet, but with all the trouble I've been going through with getting the screws off I think I'll try this option though I hope it works because time is short and unless I get the screws off in time I won't be able to fit the bed frame in the moving truck.

I tried cooking oil two days ago and the lug nut still won't move off the long screw maybe I'll try some again I don't know maybe I didn't use enough before thanks not sure if it will work though.

Wow that is a terrible thing to happen to a bed I guess. Stripped and locked. Difficult to see in my mind but I know stuff I’ve had from ikea* has these fasteners that go into the wood but being metal can only assume one tightens and one is a locking screw to prevent the other from loosing off. Always the same though, turn screws counter clockwise to loosen but if they turn around freely and nothing happens they are messed up. Cutting them off or hammering the screws out completely or until they begin to turn again might be the only option but hard to say without actually being there to see it. Not easy.

I don't mind breaking the screws off at this point because I don't have much time left to ponder and I can always buy new screws but the bed frame isn't easy to replace because it's for a king size bed.

Thanks I'm considering trying to break off the screws as carefully as I can, and I really appreciate the advice it's been so frustrating trying to figure it out on my own.

Just be careful not to break the bed frame, just the screws. Sometimes hitting the screw with a screw driver and hammer works and/or bend the screw back and forth until it breaks off or put a nick in it with a metal saw blade then bend the screw until it breaks off. I do hope breaking the screw will release the bed frame rails. You should be able to see that will be the result before you do .. good luck with it.

Perhaps you can call up the moving company and ask for their advice. Where I live if you have the money almost anything is possible. They may come to take it down for you for a fee.

Mmmm yeah I might consider this idea I'm getting a little desperate now because don't want to get rid of my king size bed frame but if I can't get these stubborn stuck screws off I won't be able to fit the frame in the moving truck, and I can't afford a bigger truck, but thankfully I have a few more days left to work on getting the screws off.

Guessing here! I think you need to undo the bolt with a spanner. The screws normally just hold the metal plate to the wood and don't need to be removed. Could be wrong though!

Lug nut - Dont know much about nuts and bolts
I purchased a spinner screw kit but the screws on the bed frame are so long that the plate cover won't reach the little nut thingy There is a long screw, and a nut holding it in place.
