do you know how to ski?

io tried it once.first of all i live in a sub tropical zone.so had to go north to try and ski.fell down a lot on my behind which by the way became quite sore!
anyway i did do the begginers course.and everytiume i see the professional skiers on discovery i have to admit that i am envious esp on seeing the ease with which they ski.just hope that once day i can do the same.do you ski?

Yes.My father is very good at skiing.He had a licence as well to teach.I started to ski when I was 4 yrs old and I didn't like it at all because I kept falling and hard to stand up and stuff(you can imagine,right?).
I and my family went to ski trip at least twice a year.I left my home country(Japan) when I was 19 and I haven't been to ski since..:( I miss skiing with my family.

I tried skiing for the first time last year. It was difficult!!! I fell a lot too – that was the only way I knew how to stop. I was using muscles I didn’t know I had. I’m from a tropical island so skiing was totally new to me. I did enjoy the challenge though and at the end of the day I could at least stay on my feet for a while. I want to go back and learn to ski properly, but that would take time and money. So it will have to wait.

No! I have always had weak ankles. Would have loved to try tho
