Summer time already!!!

The parks are full of people now, sun bathing. Yeah, this is the European way. As for me, I am missing the beach more and more. I couldn't wait for the summer break at work so that I could hit the nearest beach. I am wearing my normal get up that which is short pants and flip flops.
I woke up this morning and it is the first time since I arrived here in Europe that I get to finally say, "It is sunny and it is warm!" The cafes and restaurants including the kebap kiosk have brought out their tables and chairs. Almost everyone are wearing their sun glasses as well. Motorcycles have taken over the streets too. But because I am still working, this weather makes me feel dizzy in the afternoon that I need to take a nap. Siesta time. As much as possible, I would like to stay awake and savour the sun. Now, I understand why Caucassians roam around outside no matter how hot it is in my country while we even use umbrella when going out.
This weather, I just take it for granted at home.

I love it when the summer time comes, as my country turns into a completely different place than it is in the winter time. For me, I love the fact that you don't have to wear heavy clothes when you're out because the weather is warm enough to leave a lot of your skin bare. I also like the fact that we can sit outside until late at night with no jacket on and just chat about anything we like without a care in the world because the weather is so nice that we don't need to worry about either the temperature or the time of day either.

Well, a week ago it was summer here too--now we are having a frost tonight! I just put away all of my sweaters, and now I have to take some out again. The weather this year has been CRAZY--snow in October, snow in April and no snow in between. Enjoy your beautiful warm weather!

I like summer season in the four seasons around. Summer season makes me full of vigor as if something is blooming within my heart. The days are longer and I can have a long day to do whatever I want. Reading, writing and thinking a lot more things. I like eating various fruits in summer seasons, instead of meat and oily foods. I've got my english name Summer. Love myself, love Summer.

it is summer here too in the country but it is too hot that can already be dangerous to the health. well it is hot here all year round but when it is summer, it is just too hot that people get sick and also heat stroke...
i love the sun but i would hide from it when it is too much especially noon time.

I live in desert las vegas and I won't experience cool weather until next fall. How I wish I could vacay in Alaska.

Oh how I wish that we in England could look forward to a hot summer every year. As it is, we just have to pray that we get at least one or two hot spells in the summer months. We've already had a heat wave in March - so maybe we've only got one more spell of good weather to come before it's autumn...and then winter! You're right about the Europeans liking to be outside when it's hot - we don't get much of it: certainly not in England.

Its the same climate in my place.Its hot summer time beaches and parks are crowded. I'm not fond of strolling during this weather as if I can't stand crowded places and the heat.
But many people enjoy themselves during summer,.It brought them a lot of activities and fun.
But for me I'd rather stays home.
