Success has many different meaning to everyone. One person can find success in having good relationships while others find them in their work. Others find that success would mean having their own house, car or any other valuable things while others would simply say sucess is having lots of money. Focusing on this last one, do you think being successful in having a lot of money would guarantee happiness?

Financial success does not make me happy but financial freedom make me happy.

I think that earning more than enough money is just a way of having an easiest life but it doesn't guarantee that you'll be happy too, that still depends on human relations :)

I think it's a partial fact saying that money would guarantee happiness. Of course we know that happiness is a feeling or emotion, it's intangible, it's personal, it has no monetary value. What people who say that, I guess what they mean is that, when having money (lots of it), things that could bring you happiness are easier to obtain. And I have to agree with that, in a good way, there's nothing wrong with being successful and maybe even a little ambitious (in a good way, not taking the greedy road), because, as stated above, in my opinion, yes, money could make ME happier, since I wouldn't have to struggle that much in life. It may have it's cons but in the end one has to find out what is more convenient for him or herself.
