I really love cooking. So I tried to learn to cook some recipes. :) I firmly believe that if you know how to eat you must also know how to cook!

I sure do know how to eat, but I really can't cook! Just let me fry and open canned goods and instant food and I am good to go. I am really so not into cooking..

Everybody knows how to eat, I'm sure with that too. :) And not everyone can cook also. I know people are different, so as our hobbies, strengths and the alike differ too. That what makes the equilibrium also! If everybody can cook or will cook, then there will be no restaurants, canned goods or those instant foods.

That's true, at least some frying and steaming would do. You'll never know when your stomach will act up and you may not find any help around.

I agree with that. We should be independent. And be responsible too. If nobody's around, the only person who can help is ourselves alone. :)

If you have time you could still learn more. :) Cooking is really nice especially when you experiment mixing other stuff in it that would make a signature to your dish. But then if time would allow also. hehe. We have other priorities though. :)

Just as eating is a must, so is cooking. Even if we don`t usually need to cook for whatever reason, we must know how to do it just in case. The first time I cooked a meal was because the person who was coming to cook for me didn`t show up. I made a nice meal and it was the beginning of a life long liking for my kitchen.

I think so. Everyone should know how to cook at least for some simple dishes like omelette, fried rice, spaghetti, stir fried some vegetables, or just boilng something.

I agree I think cooking is a must for everyone despite gender. I know I will be teaching my kids how to cook as they need to learn so when they are adults they can be independant and save money by cooking themselves and how to make things healthy.

Hello there. To me, learn to cook isn't one of the main necessity skills. Even so, I do learn how to cook a little bit. Just to prepare for the time when there's no one will cook for me. I think, for most poor people they will say that cooking skill is a necessity cause they don't have money to hire a maid to cook for them. Anyway, in my country some of the rich people don't hire any maid to help for food preparation. What I can say for my country is that I think about 70-80% of the people know a little bit how to cook.

I think it's not really necessary in order to live and in fact most healthiest foods are actually best when left uncooked. Anyway, for those people who don't like cooking, it's okay because we can live even without being able to cook. But at least it's still better if we know the basics in cooking.

I believe that too. Some other people say that they don't know how to cook. I guess they are just lazy to do that.
