Is it too much to pray five times per day?

Hi ifa,
I don't think there is any limit on praying. As long as you feel like talking to God/Allah you can do that any time and any day that you want. So keep praying

Hi enelym001, The time lime for praying want not in your religious, you right to say that any time can do pray, but for Muslim 5 time pray are to do in 5 fixed time, and an other time pray are option for Muslim that can to these as an extra pray before God.

when you pray, there is no limit. You can pray anytime of the day. It much feel better if we pray always. Through praying you'll life being controlled by the Holy Spirit because you asked some guidance and protection. One thing I've learned in praying is that it feels like you have no troubles, no worries, it feels like peace in your whole being and the most thing that i felt was the love of God and I feel he is so near to me and I feel the love,warmth and embrace him.
I also acknowledge and noticed that his watching over me.To much rejoice

he never tired of listening and understand his people because his love is not like us. Who seems to give up when someone commits mistakes oftentimes. I'm glad you realized it, his even happier than you because he knows you are his child and your listening what your hearts trying to impose.
Although we are human, We should not forget we also have responsibilities on how to follow the right path or become a follower of God. Cos heaven is our destiny if you want to go in heaven,Only few people can enter the kingdom coz that place is so holy...And I really love to enter that place someday....
Just be strong and endure it no matter what....

The prayer of Christians is like a sweet perfume to God so even if you pray every minute of your life there is really nothing wrong. What is wrong is when you are just praying a memorized prayer like the pagans. But for as long as your prayers come from your heart and done out of your sincere desire to communicate your thoughts to God then praying 5 times a day is not at all excessive. God even encourages us in His Word to pray without ceasing actually.

hi dear ifa225, Thanks for your nice discussion about 5 times pray. We for Musim it is not too much, if you know, when God bless us pray that time it was more than 5, but by Holly Prophet then it was fixed to pray 5 times by God. Now we cant not say it is too much. Now we should do these 5 times pray with pleasure. Take care and be happy all lifetime.

i don't think you can ever feel that there is just about x number of prayers you should be doing a day. i mean, if you have a good relationship with god, and you need to always update him, talk to him by your prayers, i think you won't even feel that what you are doing it too much. it strengthens you and i think God appreciates that even more from us. that is what he wants from us...

I can't say if it is too much, there is mosque near my home, and a Muslim basty where so many Muslims live, i have seen him praying 5 times.

No, I don't think it is too much. Actually we should pray more than we do it. There are a lot of people who doesn't pray at all. I think that some centuries before people were more religious. Due to some philosophies and way of thinking people has left to be so religious than before. Religion is a fact of faith. We can't comprehend faith with our senses we can only belive. Most of people believe only in what they can perceive with their senses. God can't we perceive with the senses.

Yes this is too much if we are doing pray only for once in a day. This is also sufficient but that is their religion and if they feel happy in this sort then we cant do anything.

Praying to god or approaching god for or asking the advice to god is good thing. Paying helps us to people to have a cool lovely mind. They help us to stay away from tensions. The more you stick with god the tensions and and problems get depleted.

Doesn't the Bible say that we should "Pray Always"?
Just don't forget to count your blessings
even when things are pretty rotten around you there's always something to be thankful for
your home? your loved ones? the air you breathe?
I'm constantly praying and very thankful ALWAYS!
