Do couples who looks similar are more likely to stay in a relationship

They say that when you look similar to your girlfriend/boyfriend it is most likely that your relationship will last forever and you will leave happily ever after. Do you believe in those saying? I know that lots of myloter here have already experienced and crossed this road. I hope you could share your experience regarding this matter.

yes i agreed, a couple will become like each other because they always spend time together. If a couple does not spend time together, they will break up or divorced sooner or later.

So what you are saying that their similarities could be probably due to their being always together and spending each other time. I guess so, maybe people who used to see them often together may somehow conclude that they look similar.

i think that is possible for most people.. for the couple to look alike - they must always be together all the time hence they have already looked alike already.

I also saw some individual who looks like as if they are brother and sister, then when you will asked them, to your surprised they are not related by blood but they are related through their heart.

If it is only for looks hmm I don't think so, they can be have similar looks but different in beliefs or attitudes.

I believe that when 2 people have been in a marriage or significant other relationship for a long time they may begin to look like each other because they become "one" with each other. I don't believe anyone stays together forever in a happy relationship because I believe every relationship has a shelf life. There is a life cycle to everything; a beginning, a middle and an end. If 2 people don't know when their relationship is over they might be stubbornly determined to stay together because they are unable to embrace change. When that happens... the relationship is no longer happy or healthy.

Thanks for sharing your opinion Sherrybelle, I learn something from you like relationship have a cycle. That`s what i noticed too that sometimes if both individuals have been in a relationship for a long period of time they may look like each other.

i have seen many couples who look alike that they are often mistaken as siblings. even when two people who don't look somewhat similar at first will eventually look almost the same because they are often seen together. however, having similar looks should not be the only basis for two people to stay in a relationship and we all know that there are many considerations. but it can be fun for couples to be mistaken as siblings, another bond they will share. too bad for those who get confused though :)

im not sure if there is anything to this or not.. i know lately i have seen alot of couples and im like they look like a odd match.. but i would think that , that couple would last longer seeing as they are not baseing there relatioship on looks alone.. but i dont know.. i know i look alot like my mom and me and her have the better relationship of by brother and sister.. so could be true take care

hi, actually i have many friends i mean couple friends that who looks similar,i do believe that when a partner are similar they are destined for each other or they will stay in a relationship for so long. i know many people here in my country believe on that.

I don't know,a couple only leave long lasting if they are loving each other and understand each other no matter how situations come. And also love is suffering and sacrifice all,.
